They need to improve the detail at ground level. Then they should make it into a driving simulator so you can drive around and explore the world from your sofa. I am sure NERF, Gaussian splatting and other AI techniques will make this possible very soon.
Yet they took out a driving feature over 10 years ago where you could see the actual roads you were on for directions, so how does this help the majority of people?
This is a waste of money. The view y’all had before was good but y’all just had to mess that up as usual. Changing things that don’t need to be changed🤔. I don’t want to use immersive view it takes too long to see what I’m looking for AND I like to travel up the block on the app to see the area and I find that you’re using ancient images from way back and businesses that closed down a long time ago. By the way, we used paper maps back in the days. I drove taxi for 6 years and we did good with those. Let me find out I have to go back to that
The main thing I need in maps in real lane view. Show me the actual road I'm traveling in and which lane to switch in real life...
