Yo that playlist idea is genius. Quick question, how did you end up choosing that gel? Mainly efficacy? Started getting into mountain biking and looking for some quick fuel sources for longer rides. Love that you're posting more vlogs, keep em coming! Looking forward to the app video as well.
@@lugoobre I wanted to try something that had more natural ingredients (chia) vs just a mysterious ingredients. I also judge on consistency (does it go down well or is it thick). The super popular one now is by Maurten, but I had a couple of them during this marathon and I almost choked on it bc it was too thick and chunky. Mostly what you’re looking for is how much protein is in it, whether or not you also need caffeine, and then also some have sodium to retain water better. I planned the caffeine ones at the start and midway point, but in between miles were just protein only. I ate a gel every 2 miles and I got so sick of it by the end.
