The reason Baruka's eyes glow red for a couple of seconds - he is successfully taunted by Iron, when Iron does that scream and a red pulsewave comes out of him - this is a nod towards MMOs and other games where tank characters taunt monsters to draw their attention.
15:40 Jinwoo sees her as his little sister, which is what his little sidekick buddy misses entirely because he's not the brightest pea in the pod when it comes to social cues. Well done ladies on figuring that one out so easily, a lot of people didn't.
Honestly it grinds my gears that people don't get that and misinterpreting it in the worst form possible accusing that the main character is a pedophile. Wtf is wrong with people lol
I mean it's not so much that jinho isn't the brightest, it's the he's lacking context concerning the convo they were having in the backseat which without that context sounds like they were sleeping together.
@@Englesch I think it's mostly people who don't remember a lot of the show and don't understand the chemistry between the characters :s I tend to give most people a pass since they're not as invested as a lot of the rest of us are. They see things "per episode" rather than as the "next episode". At least, that's me trying to be somewhat sympathetic to the ignorance. In my mind, it should be painfully obvious that it was a funny moment based on a huge misunderstanding since it is with Jinho and Jinwoo.
Someone left a good comment so I brought it! Some information that anime watcher may have missed: In Korean “Chul” in Kim Chul means iron, which is why Jinwoo named him Iron. The skill Iron used (the red scream/roar) is a taunt skill that forces enemies to target him.
Just telling you there can be a big difference in battle strength at the same RANK . Like A-rank Woo Jin-chul was stronger than Kim-chul who is a low a ranker because of technique , battle iq , experience etc . Right now Sung jin woo is Higher A rank , Igris low S rank , Iron mid A rank , the bear boss shadow higher B rank/lowest A rank.
10:46 Jinwoo slips into stealth, stabs Baruka in his side and then he slips back into stealth and walks away as Iron turns Baruka into a pancake 🥶 PEAK LEVELING!
17:28 you have to remember that Dongsoo (the S rank hunter who wants to kill him in order to avenge his brother) is still after him so it's understandable that Jinwoo wants to get stronger. He needs to protect himself and his family, nobody can really stop other S rank hunters if they decide to suddenly kill someone.
The sad part is that if an S rank wants to kill some random E-D-C or even B rank, NO ONE is going to stop him, because the fallout of trying to stop that act would cause much more loss of life than simply allowing the murder to happen.
8:40 Igris blasted the slow up with his sword to buy a little time against Baruka, to give Jinwoo time to extract Kim's shadow and create Iron. Kim had it coming from the moment they entered the dungeon and he left the "weak" group behind to die.
The problem there is, believing what I read elsewhere, of the things they left out from the Manhwa, Kim's strategy was actually the right one: not 'leaving' the weaker behind, but rather in place, so the strongest (in all people's there view) could deal with the dungeon without them having to worry on protecting the weaker during fights, which in turn could end killing all of them. That way the strongest of them could focus more. We all know it didn't matter in the end, WE, the readers/watchers knew about Jinwoo, but putting ourselves in the others' shoes, it'd be the best strategy.
@@Cerberos1188 Well he could have tried taking them along and only give up on them if he saw it would be impossible to protect them. He was too ready to leave 4 people behind to die. Anyway, besides that Kim lost his mind and would have killed them if Jinwoo hadnt intervened. And he was also going to try and kill Jinwoo so... welcome to the shadow army
Epic fight and it’s not even the main fight of the season! Sung Jin Woo's latest mirror clip made me rizz up and I'm a man 😂 Catching the arrow in mid-air was fireee🔥🔥 even when he killer that elf in one second ahaha
14:44 this is a reference to low drop rates in games or to gacha games where you keep rolling for an item and you don't get it or sometimes you're lucky and you get it (like when he was able to extract Igris)
13:15 this scene is much cooler in the manhwa, Baek Yoonho realizes that Jinwoo is a threat and even if he started a fight against him, he wouldn't have left the fight without losing a limb or two.
Hey, what’s up, everyone? Hello Magy and Waga =) We're back with more of Peak Leveling Season 2, Episode 2! Before we dive into this episode, I just want to go over a couple of things from the comments on last week’s reaction. First thing: It turns out we actually saw Kim Chul back in Season 1. While he’s officially introduced in Season 2, he made a quick appearance as a background character in Episode 5 during that gym scene where Yunho was training. You might remember the E-Rank Hunter from Jinwoo's squad too-the guy Kim Chul rejected from joining his crew. Funny enough, it worked out for him since Kim Chul’s squad got wiped out by the ice elves, and he’s the only one left. Pretty crazy! It's cool seeing these little callbacks, like Kim Chul lifting weights while that other guy was on the punching bag. Second thing: I got so caught up in Jinwoo’s new title and the color change from blue to purple that I totally missed the part where he switched back to the Wolf Assassin title to handle the ice bears. Alright, let’s get back to where we left off. Last time, Ygris totally wrecked the ice bear boss. I’m betting Jinwoo’s going to hit them with Arise and expand his army. At least, that’s what I’m thinking! We also saw Kim Chul running from the ice elves and caught a glimpse of the boss riding a horse at the end. I’m really excited to see how that fight with Jinwoo plays out! Now, let’s get into this episode: Arise? Yup, called it. That boss looks awesome with those flaming paws. I love how Jinwoo’s army keeps growing; it's always satisfying to see. Wait, so it’s three hours inside the gate but three days in the real world? Got it. Whoa, the truth... but not the whole truth… Yunho vs. Dong-Seo? Dang, things are getting intense. Poor Kim Chul though-his nails are seriously chipped. Hold up, Jin-Chul stopped both of them? Oh, they held back at the last second. Makes sense-an A-rank stopping two S-ranks would’ve been wild otherwise. And seriously, Kim Chul blaming others for his squad’s deaths? Dude, relax. He's kind of trash. Then, Son Jinwoo enters the scene. Kim Chul’s completely losing it, but Jinwoo’s got this. His aura’s just too strong to ignore, and the system effect lets him communicate. Still, Kim Chul’s spiraling out of control. And then, the boss fight... That boss is no joke-flaming bears and all. Jinwoo’s summons might not be immortal, but their regeneration is costing him mana. Even with Ygris, this battle is intense. But Jinwoo’s tactics are on point. As for Kim Chul? He’s turned into Iron-stronger in death than in life. His shadow form is wild. The visuals in this episode were amazing. Barker’s fight was epic. The dude’s dagger is insane, but Jinwoo wasn’t able to extract his shadow. It makes sense though, since he’s still under-leveled compared to Barker. At least he got the dagger, though-wonder what rank it is. The glitching during Jinwoo’s conversation with Barker? That was strange. Is it something with the system? Hopefully, it gets addressed later. Final thoughts: The action in this episode was on fire. A-1 Pictures totally nailed it. It’s a bummer Jinwoo couldn’t add Barker to his army, but his strength and tactical thinking are growing stronger, so that makes up for it. Thanks for watching, guys! See you in the next one!

Why is the animation so good? Well, the first two episodes were released in theatres as a stand alone movie (Solo Leveling: Reawakening). We shall have to see if the animation remains at such a high level for the rest of the show. I really really hope it does.
His main purpose/goal is to save his family especially his sick mother after that he only fight or level up when it's absolutely necessary. His greed to attain more power is actually for a good cause.
Two new shadow Iron and Tank so happy to see them tank is the alpha ice bear with fire fist now Sung Jin Woo's as 3 shadow Igris Tank Iron The true shadow as name the army like is foot soldiers is mages or the normal ice bears don't have name
For me its W karma. Kim chul wanted to kill jinwoo and jinwoo is like okay? U comin in middle of my fight? So how about you shut up and help me cuz as human he wont
Captain Tsubasa another soccer anime Too bad, look at that This anime tells the story of a little boy named Tsubasa who wants to become a soccer player one day. Then join forces with your rivals and form a team to win the international competition. I think there are two seasons

My favorite part of the episode.
6:07 the System clearly doesn't want Jinwoo to find out why the monsters are compelled to kill humans.
7:05 the DISRESPECT is wild...imagine your own arrow caught in mid air and you getting killed with it 😂
What can I say?
Jinwoo is built different. 😏

2:00 the scary part is, nothing can really stop S rank hunters from doing whatever they want, except other hunters.

5:04 first really COLD moment from this episode, decapitated that ice elf before Baruka could finish the sentence 🥶
Jinwoo being cold hearted makes sense for what he had gone through in ep 2 of season 1 and episode 6

Jinwoo can use extraction 3 times on one target but he can arise as many daily as he want
Almost everyone fails to notice when Iron smashes Baruca, SungJinWoo just fades into Stealth being COOL.
Really was waiting for yall’s reaction 😊

it is because the name of the chul is the name of the hunter of kim chul, meaning the iron of the hunter in korean!
His main purpose/goal is to save his family especially his sick mother after that he only fight or level up when it's absolutely necessary. His greed to attain more power is actually for a good cause.
Dongsoo's VA is Sukuna's from JJK, no wonder that collar up aggro andy sounds threatening.
Thank you for the excellent reaction, commentary and discussion, you did such a good job with it ❤
