    👍 for avoiding and respecting the little cross and grave Chris.
    I used to live on the East side of Dunn, NC. East of 95. If I still did I would be calling you for my pond work brother. You're definitely the man when it comes to all things pond.

      Yes it does, ive heard him say it was his 4 foot bucket but never realized its 4’X4’ though. No wonder he can cut a basketball sized tree into by dropping its teeth into it

    This is EXACTLY what i have to have done on mine. Same size pond. But i don’t have an overflow pipe(i do have an outflow stream)and it is a much tighter area, so it all has to be done by HAND. You read that right. I will use my quad to tie myself to( with a long line) or whoever is working) on the sloped part, and tie the tree sections off with a strap to the tractor, and use that to get it up the small bank to the burn pile. Several trees have fallen in the pond(its only 5 ft deep now) but this has to be done- it was neglected for 10 years before we bought it.

Not to mention there is sometimes a long drive to and from the jobsite, which could be as much as three hours like on the 5 acre pond job they did a couple years ago. Many of the jobs require long drives. Probably doesn't want to spend any more time than he has to.

      @cjzx325 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@marcryvon I wouldn't call NC flat necessarily unless you're east of I95. We do plenty of farmers and golf courses and our clay soil really helps with ponds. You're right about the lack of true rivers and the few lakes we do have are man made reservoirs. Plenty of rain. 45+ inches per year on average and the last 5 or 6 years we've been over 50 inches.

    Sycamore trees have a white fuzzy almost like cotton that comes off the leaves you don't notice it until your cutting them down but the more you mess with them, the more that stuff gets in the air, little advice when messing with them especially if knocking them down or chipping them you need to wear a mask that fine cotton like material will make you itch like if you rolled in fiber glass insulation, and if you inhale that material it will make your throat itch and it also can make it hard to breath also. I use to cut down and trim trees ect. For quite a few years, I live in Ohio and theirs a good amount of Sycamore trees here. The worst is when running them threw a chipper. Its a real mess. Good luck buddy been a fan for 3 or 4 years.
