Thank you! Very clear step by step and then the success 😀! I'm from infra, it would be very nice for me you share the lambda code.

    How about NAT gateway?
aren't you creating NAT gateway here??
I have a scenario that s3 and eventbridge is outside VPC and lambda and rds is inside VPC
i should make use of private subnet and NAT gateway right?

Hello, can you demonstrate how to pass data from step function to lamda function. Also based on the data passed to lamda function it should invoke different microservices.

HI I have tried following methods and its failed to connect.
    1. RDS instance is public access NO and 3 subnet with public access ( have internet access )
    2. Created New security ( Lambda SG ) allow outbound all access .
    3. Lamda function add the Default VPC and select those RDS public subnet and select the lambda security group . After create ENI and try to run the Lambda to connect the RDS . but its get failed .
Can you advice how can I connect RDS lambda .

If my subnets are already pvt do we still need route table?

Hello, thanks for your video. Still there is something I don't understand. At 2:26, in the "Connectivity & Security" tab of your RDS instance, we can see under the "Subnets" section the 3 subnets of your subnet group. What I understand from that is the RDS instance can operate in those 3 subnets. Is that correct? Later, at 3:48, you create a Route Table with only 2 of those subnets. Why those 2 subnets only? Why not the 3? Thanks for you help

      Forgive me for replying late.
Initially there was one route table with 3 subnets connected to IG that means all subnets are public
To make it private, I picked up 2 subnets and added them to a new route table which is not connected to IG. So those 2 become private and the left 1 is public which can be used by other resources. It's up to us how many to make a private subnet and here we are also adding lambda into a private subnet so AWS recommends to keep lambda in at least 2 subnets so that it doesn't go out of IP address while scaling.

Can you please confirm that by doing so you are placing the lambda in the private subnet as well in which the RDS instance is present?

Yes it is. Also refer this blog

hey I got a question, after making RDS accessible only from lambda, if I put Api Gateway as a trigger can I use DBeaver (or whatever)
