@@estherkavemba1929 Thank you Esther I now get your question. Those plates had lapels or better still the flowers that are put on men's suit coat. The matrons go with the plates up to the pulpit and put/dress the gentlemen on the pulpit with them. Thus the church elders, the church pastors, the officiating pastor, the groom and the Best man.
