Great information guys....I love it ...CEO of the house
Awesome! Thank you! You know it!
This is kind of information most diaspora need in order to settle well in Tanzania .
But most of information is available on Government websites. I guess most diaspora do not know what websites to look at.
For example the residency fee you paid the information is here in Immigration website and is based on the sector you choose which is Farming
www.immigration.go.tz/index.php/en/services/residence-permits
All the fees you paid for registration of company at Brela the information is available at brela website
www.brela.go.tz/index.php/companies/fees
There are main Government websites which I advise Diaspora to visit to get proper information.
these are:
Visa, Residency permits ,Citizenship and the fees
immigration.go.tz/index.php/en/
For company registration and fees
www.brela.go.tz/
For Investment opportunities and procedures to land acquisition for business
www.tic.go.tz/
Work Permits
workpermit.mof.go.tz/
www.kazi.go.tz/documents/vibali-vya-kazi
For TIN number registration and Tax issues
www.tra.go.tz/
Information about business license
business.go.tz/obtain-a-business-license
Information about business in Tanzania in general and advisory on starting business as foreigner or local and all steps you must follow
business.go.tz/home
As Tanzanian I can say even the Consultation fees is reasonable even we the locals we pay the same for a firm to do all that for us. We normally pay around Tshillings 1 Million for everything including Memorandum of Understanding documents drafting.
Though I do not understand why they rejected you to be the one working.
I guess it was just an advice and not written as a law or regulation.
I hope your projects will take off and be success .
I wish you all luck in settling in my country Tanzania
Thanks bro
Keagle Eagle....you have just done a favor to our Country, that is what we call Patriotism!
Africa needs people like these individuals/Couples..Diasporas need to bring their expertise to help push the development of the Continent.Iam so Delighted with these two ,

EXCELLENT INFORMATION! Subscribed. This is the kind of information I needed. You just made it a little easier. One question and if you don't get it here I will email-can you give us the Name and coordinates of the Accountant consultant? And you even told us about a reliable internet service. BIG THANKS and MUCH SUCCESS!
Thanks for the sub! Reliable internet depends on the area you live in. So worry about that when you get here. I will email you, I saw you email but did nothing yesterday. Just sleep!

Hello
Very informative, since I am planning to set up a business in Tanzania, however, it sounded quite expensive.. or I get lost in all the numbers.. Best Wishes
We too thought it’s expensive but what is the price for safe and security, so we keep moving. We don’t make the rules just abide by them.
Very helpful! Thank you very much! 🥰

Hello. Just found your channel. Valuable info. Thanks for sharing. I'm coming to visit TZ soon. I'm a Jamaican living in US. US citizen by naturalization. Do I need a visa to enter Tanzania?
Welcome and thanks for the sub. Do you have your JA passport? If so no but yes with US passport. Get your JA passport.
I hope that you prosper with your business... So much so that the four thousand plus dollars every two years will be nothing much according to your income ..
Thank you so much.. We did not think so either. Thank you!
love you guys. Best couple and thanks for this information. What is the best internet provider?
She mentioned that they switched over to Vodacom. But Zuku also has very fast and reliable internet however they currently cover a few areas in Dar es salaam e.g Upanga, Msasani & The Peninsula area (Oysterbay, Masaki)
Depends on your location. We are in Boko area and had smile and its not working well here now we are trying two which work well. Holotel and Vodacom.
Yes, we contact zuku when we got here and they are not in our location as yet.
Thank you so much! What is the process after the 2 years? In the event passport vaccines are mandatory in neighboring countries, is it possible to extend the stay without moving?
After two years you requested or reapply for another 2 years.
Can you elaborate on the part about the shares?
Thats something the one that prepared it can assist with. Its not something I am knowledgeable on to be to able to explain to you. Sorry!
Hey god partes
Hello Godson.. Love you nephew, how is Karter, hope you helping with her. Can you change her diaper yet?
This is extremely helpful. Does Tanzania have zoning restrictions? As far as agriculture vs residential? Can you build homes on farmland, etc.? Thank you
Yes there are zoning restrictions but test you can build home on farmland along with farming.
Do you have to renew the work permit and visa. How often and how much?
Every two years..
Dear Lera and Dasent, thank you for sharing this valuable information. I will be in Tanzania in a few weeks, but I will be volunteering in a local orphanage initially. I would definitely consider establishing a business once I finish volunteering. On a separste note: did you vaccinate against malaria before going to Tanzania?
No vaccine for us, we have not had any problem thus far and there are meds readily available here. Please reach out when you make it here.
I like your video. Thank you for sharing good info. Can I contact you?
Thank you! Yes you may, my email is lera@affinitystart.com

Thank you!
Great video! New subscriber😁 Oh and I love the intro
Thank you for subscribing. Welcome to the fam!
Why did you register a Company instead of a sole proprietor? Would the costs be different? How long was the whole process in total, minus the hikup?
We are not a citizen so we cannot do sole proprietor is what I was told. Complete process is about 2 months give and take.
@@GlobalRooted Thank you for the reply
Are you a farmer planning to repat in Tz?
I love your channel. Keep the good work. Are you from the Carribbean?
Thank you, we will try. Thanks for being part of the family.
Thank you so much for this valuable information. Did you have to have a certain amount of capital in the bank in order to start your business?
Yes, its required!
Thank you so much for the breakdown! When you were saying you were trying to register the business in your name, you mumbled something about why you weren’t able to and I couldn’t catch what you said. Would you please clarify why you weren’t able to start the business and your husband had to be involved?
You made me laugh so loud.. Yes girl, they told me a man cannot be a depend to his wife.. The nerves of them. I cannot be the boss. Its all good! Smiles
@@GlobalRooted 😂Thank you so much for responding!

Oh we did and we trim the trees but they are still here.

how much is your overall cost of living!
I will do a video on that but honestly it varies but I will do ours.
What are the costs of establishing a company in Tanzania?
I gave the cost we paid but there are other factors that can alter the cost.

On paper yes..

Not at all, you mean you US tag? no!
@@GlobalRooted Awesome.Yes. Thank you for the info.

Is the exchange rate better when converting $100 USD to shillings OR using a debit card at the ATM?
$50 and $100 gives you better rate in most banks.. CBRD is the same rate no matter what bill. ATM is a lower rate and there is also fees but you will soon run out of that cash. There are Mpesa you can sent money to yourself and also other resources you can use to get your money here from there.
@@GlobalRooted what is CBRD?
