Each of these products are researched over years. They select and test hundreds of ingredients and textures for a unique and wonderful sensorial experience. Like their fashion, their skincare is at the forefront of technology and innovation. Those ‘value’ products people say, “do the same thing” are cheap imitations of Chanel. For me, Chanel is an investment in myself. They make me feel amazing and give me confidence. They make me feel special when I otherwise feel bad about myself. I love how they smell and what they do for my skin and body. After a lifetime of abuse and feeling so bad about myself, they help me feel worthy of good things.
This was an interesting video topic. I love Chanel but not the skincare. It's nice but like you said the price isn't always worth it. I remember my SA telling me about a Sublimage cream that was $400 and I was thinking, "That's 3 facials!!" The 3 facials would do more for my skin too! I get peels and I can really notice a difference.
I have the l'extrait de Nuit and it's the best skin care product I've used. At least the most effective one. I saw a significant difference in my skin in just a couple of days. Not sure if there are other cheaper serums/cream that do the same (probably) but this one definetely works!
The hydra beauty lip balm is my absolute favorite lip balm, and has been for years!! One of my most repurchased items. It's the only one that works for my lips, and i work in beauty and have tried a looooot. No shade tho, just wanted to give another opinion in the comments
Lip balm I've noticed works best for me when I do a lot of lip movements like talking..it really absorbs and helps hydrates...but for like sleeping over night or just staying at home alone I'd pass and use the boy chanel lip stick
I have the rouge coco baume thats $10 less than hydra lip care and I’m glad I got it first. It’s a lip balm but the packaging is a luxury lip stick. The hydra beauty lip care should cost less because you have dip your fingers to use it and especially with COVID, that’s unsanitary lol so I see it more to be used during night time. But I still want it
Ohh I like you! I just randomly bought 500 on Channels skincare products and have no idea whether that was a terrible thing to do.. so thank you!! I hope you have my videos on Chanel’s products and this video deserves more likes plus views!
GIIIRLLLLL♡ Thank YOU!!! Said it loud and clear about the eye patches. Every video Ive watched, I understood that the eye patches had some sort of gel or serum, aside from the roller!!! Wth!!! Yeah. Im passing on that too! You were very honest i thank you!!!
I came across your Chanel today because I decided that for my birthday this year, I will treat myself to some Chanel beauty or skin care products. I don’t own anything Chanel, I’ve only admired from afar so I got really excited when I saw how many videos you have explaining the products and which are good, bad, must haves, etc. After watching a couple of your videos, I definitely have a better idea of which products to start off with, so thank you for filming and with so much info and explanation rather than only doing swatches or just using the products on yourself without explaining 🥰
I couldn't agree more. I find many Chanel products are not worth the price, however I understand that they are expensive since they are Chanel. I enjoy hydration that is why I prefer the Hydra Beauty line although I am 54, I like the Le Lift line and I use some products, but I know that they don't do miracles. I have used to Sublimage Eye creams with no result whatsoever, and I only have fine lines. I prefer to spend more on active ingredients proven to do some good and also use Chanel mainly for the nice fragrance they have (like in the Hydra Beauty Line) and the hydration they provide. If I were to spend that much money I would definitely consider Botox where you can actually see the results not hope and pray that you have some xx
I agree! So many other skin care lines that are as good but more reasonably priced. I used Chanel skin products for years, but you are right I am at the age where a bit of Botox and filler makes more sense than spending hundreds on "Chanel" trying to be more discerning with how I spend my money.
Same as some other comments below - I actually LOVE this Hydra Beautify Nourishing Lip Balm ! This the only product ever worked on my super dry lips which used to keep peeling off while I was talking with people (which was really embarrassing). And no matter what kind of other lip balm I used, it wasn't working at all, or only few hours at best -and I don't have patience to keep putting lip balms all day. I thought the price of this Chanel Lip Balm was ridiculous at the beginning and wasn't quite sure about "tub" situation instead of in the "stick" shape. But now I love both how well it works and the shape. Now I only need to put it on once in the morning and once before going bed. That's it - and somehow it magically hydrates my lips all day and all night - no peeling in front of people. Also this works perfectly under any lip stick and it goes onto my lips like a dream. There is no noticeable flavor or fragrance either so it's perfect. I also have realized the "tub" situation is so much more sanitary than "stick". You know how those "stick" balm looks kind of gross after some uses, right ? Not in this case - I put these on during my skincare routine and my hands/fingers are clean so the products remain super clean. And it works so well so I don't need to carry this around during the day to put it on anyways. I have used every bit of this expensive product, and now I'm going through the 3rd tub. No product was ever wasted, so it's expensive but very well worth it to me. I mean, really how many lip balms or lip care do we actually get to use all ? BUT again, I'm sure it works differently for different people. For me it works and literally saved my lips and made my life much easier !!
Omg finally someone reviews the le lift contours. It does not absorb to my lips too, leaves horrible white streaks on it. I regret the money so I still use it at night.
That hydra lip balm is a holy grail for me I guess it depends how much you use balm or if you’re a balm type of girl . I’ve never found a balm that can fluff up my lips like Chanel’s I would continue to repurchased but maybe it’s because I have crusty lips lol 😂
Thanks for your honest opinion, I love the hydra lips but I agree that it’s way too much…can you do a review on the tissé eyeshadow line? I’m building my collection and have a few but I would like to know what you think
Thanks for this video. I am a new subscriber and while I love Chanel beauty, I still would like to know, especially from someone who worked for Chanel, what items are worth it and others I should pass and save my money.
I wonder if the lip balm that caused peeling has petrolatum in it. I tried PCA SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster which is supposedly the world's greatest lip balm. Its first ingredient is petrolatum, one of the most disgusting, filthy things you can put on your body. It made my lips dry as raisins, shriveled and dehydrated. I love the By Terry lip balm - expensive but worth every nickel.
I actually adore the hydra beauty lip balm- no other balm works better and I wouldn’t even consider trying La Mer or By Terry potted balms for the price… just goes to show skincare is so personal 😉 Totally, one thousand per cent agree on the face mist, are you kidding, especially that bottle is tiny!!! How about their Sublimage face mist?😂😉😉 that one is about 500$ or so, and also a tiny bottle. Well may be there’s clientele for that, but it’s definitely not a mass product even for a luxury beauty brand…
You and a few others actually love the lip balm! Thank goodness it works for you lol I would be so sad if it failed everyone >.> the sublimage face mist makes my wallet hurt haha
@@shadowbrooke2011 noooo, do you actually buy it!?!!:))) Yes, the lip balm is among my top favorite products like ever, but for the most part I usually agree with your picks in every video! Love your Chanel videos, you have great taste, great expertise, but also very smart & reasonable judgement 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌹
Great video! I'm very strategic about the Chanel products I purchase so I appreciate knowing what to avoid. I agree about the Hydra Beauty mist. I purchased it on Poshmark and while it was an enjoyable experience... it's a face mist.
So I guess I’m grateful I only have 2. I’d probably repurchase 1 of them. Like you, I thought that Flash/eyepatch was D.U.M.B. dumb. Oops, I have the lip contour stuff too and hate it. That white stuff just sits there and doesn’t sink in at all.

I agree the use a fuckton of resources but best believe they markup bc of the name
You can tell which ones are better than others. Not all of them are going to be perfect. The ones that work well are amazing.

Lol I love that you quantify it in facials!

Absolutely no shade! I'm glad it worked for somebody out there lol it makes me feel a lot better knowing that there are customers who are enjoying it!
Lip balm I've noticed works best for me when I do a lot of lip movements like talking..it really absorbs and helps hydrates...but for like sleeping over night or just staying at home alone I'd pass and use the boy chanel lip stick
I love the hydro lip balm as well. When I’m out, I can use it once every three hours or so and my lips stay silky smooth.
Same here! Love it and use it constantly.

I agree with so many of these things you share. And if I have to shell out &800, I'd probably buy a whole set of skincare rather than just one serum.
I came across your Chanel today because I decided that for my birthday this year, I will treat myself to some Chanel beauty or skin care products. The hydra beauty lip balm for me works great! It's a product I can't live without. Love your videos!! 💖💖
Thank goodness it's working for you!
Yeah both potted and stick work really well for me too. Thankfully!
And finding a great lip balm is harder than most people think.

Exactly! Once we start adding commas to the price, sign me up for botox lol

Once the price tag starts getting upward of 4 figures, it's time to switch strategies lol
I appreciate your honesty! I’m have a interview for Chanel and I am really enjoying your videos.

totally agree with the price of the beauty mist, but i do love it especially when travelling!
Love the product, hate the price lol

I Loooove the lip balm. It’s the only balm that has worked for me during the cold swedish winter 😅🙃😊
I wish I saw this video before I bought both of Chanel lip products((I have same relationships whith those items.thank you for honest review!
Thanks for your honest opinion, I love the hydra lips but I agree that it’s way too much…can you do a review on the tissé eyeshadow line? I’m building my collection and have a few but I would like to know what you think
Great video. Love the honesty
Thanks for the info. What would be your go to items for a 50 year old. I currently use some of the Le Lift items
Thank You, Thank You. I love Chanel but I totally agree with you.
Have you tried the new version of the Le Blanc serum? How does it compare to the previous all white bottle version?
Thank you for your honesty so refreshing
Lol “stem cells..” that cracked me up 😂
Thanks for this video. I am a new subscriber and while I love Chanel beauty, I still would like to know, especially from someone who worked for Chanel, what items are worth it and others I should pass and save my money.
Sublimage Le teint foundation?! I love it and think it's worth it. What do you think?
I wonder if the lip balm that caused peeling has petrolatum in it. I tried PCA SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster which is supposedly the world's greatest lip balm. Yes! Reality check! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

More on what you disagree! It’s a good way of us not jumping into buying something you already have experience.
There's always more! I'll work on it!
Hi beauty!!! In your opinion wich le lift is better? The normal le lift creme or the creme de nuit??
I’ll just stick to my Dove Beauty Bar for a $1 vs $110, LOL 😂 truth be told, I’d never spend a lot of cash on cleansers. Love these types of videos.
I remember trying the serum out at Chanel but when I saw the price going for RMB5000. I wouldn’t spend that much on skincare. It’s ridiculous.
Great video! I'm very strategic about the Chanel products I purchase so I appreciate knowing what to avoid. I agree about the Hydra Beauty mist. I purchased it on Poshmark and while it was an enjoyable experience... it's a face mist.
We stan an unbiased queen! Great video!
Gotta save us that DOUGH

Eye flash is EXTRAAA lol
Thanks for the video! You really need to film a makeup tutorial for your makeup look! Your makeup looks gorgeous!
Just when you’re out of CHANEL…!? I‘ve seen you talked positive about Chanel le lift lip balm and so…
Be true.
She the scientist 🤣🤣🤣
