Folk costumes in Dalarna - Finnmarken

Dalarna has a rich cultural heritage to preserve. One of them is the parish costumes, which are garments that tell the story of those who have worn them, about techniques, materials, and the changing views on fashion over time. To secure knowledge about Dalarna's parish costumes and disseminate information about them within and outside the museum building, Dalarnas Museum produces a number of films featuring interviews with key individuals who possess a parish costume and carry knowledge that the local costume tradition can reveal about their garment.
