Was stopped up near me long enough for helicopter to come up and for me to come out of home pretty much every unit in my area following him and wasn't driving much faster than speed limit
In my honest opinion... I think maybe he was seeing how long the helicopter could stay up before needing to refuel. That's when you make your getaway when the birds not in the air.
The police had so many opportunities to do a pit, or to cut him off, by going in front of him when he stopped; but these police lack assertiveness and aggression.
Just imagine how many innocent people could have been killed or injured by this drunk? And the cops utterly fail, on numerous occasions, to pit this insane driver. This should have ended within the first 15 minutes. I sure hope this video is shown to the bosses at CHP and other police involved in this fiasco! Someone needs to be fired!
What the hell are you talking about. The guy was driving safely, obeying speed limits and stop lights and using turn signals. How are you imagining that he could have killed or injured someone?
I'm seeing this 8 hours after it streamed. Why didn't they pull one of the police vehicles in front of the suspect's car, blocking him in, when he was stopped? This was at the beginning of this video.
Most criminals rack up 100 extra Charges during a high speed chase.. This is the most respectful and gracious suspect I've ever seen.. His only charges is DUI and Evading police
It's really sad the police take so long in a chase! Plenty of times they could've pit the car, IMO of course! We just keep seeing this in every chase, risking so many innocent people's lives! More training in vehicle chases🤷♀️

I think the police continue to chase vehicles for network ratings that intern creates ad. revenue for platforms like TH-cam. - They must get a cut of that action. Why else would the police chase a suspect who they believe is under the Influence.

The police give the suspect sufficient opportunity to surrender so that no harm or recklessness occurs on the part of the suspect
