How many men in your life, you know, that reacted like Robyn, they would not
take no for an answer. Keep sticking around. You tell them , you not interested anymore. They find a reason to say you are. You probably, would get a restraining order. The difference in Robyn, was she had something on her. Robyn could have destroy her life, as well as legacy. Wake Up! I stand in honor of Whitney's life, and her wishes. I don't care how nice she tell the story, so polite and humble. The fact is she is telling the story. She is destroying het mother's memory. Regarless of whether or not, you care about, your or not, she loved her mother. She would turn over in her, yes she would.

The love she has for Whitney is very deep. In her heart she still loves her and holds on to the memories of Whitney.
it's very beautiful and special. Whitney represents beauty at its finest and it seems like Robyn saw her before anybody else did. And if your heart is pure you can love that person knowing they can never belong to you and just be there to protect them. I cry when I see Robyn speak of Whitney, because I feel her pain. She really wanted things to be different, but she understood the situation. True love understands. I'm very happy that Robyn is joyous and has a happy life today...On Whitney..., and Robyn has said this over and over,...Whitney was more than a God blessed singer,...she had an inner divine peace and connection to God. This is what made her stand out. With her gift, and her relationship with our Lord,..she wanted,..and was able to give us something heavenly. This is not easy to write,...it's more of an understanding of what makes "Greatness". Everything comes from our Savior,..Christ.

I thought it was a great trip, although I very much doubt that they ended the physical part of the relationship in 1982. Even though she was married to Bobby, they were in the same hotel room. Whitney’s drug usage makes a lot of sense now. There was a lot of insecurity, lack of family support, pressure from her family, and genuine inconsideration. That only multiples and festers with time.
Yeah I didn't realize she had such a hard family life. I felt so bad for her while reading the book.

Well, when you have to deny what you really are, that can be unbearable. An then you try to numb those feelings. That's what she did. My view: Whitney would still be alive today had she had stayed with Robin. She was the true love of her life.

I heard Whitney say in SEVERAL interviews when she was alive she didn’t need any other friends than Robyn. She is absolutely tellin the truth. No new friends. And now that I’m older I realize how wise she was. Most people are shady and users.
Robyn is revealing her truth. The two were extremely close in friendship and romance. She knew Whitney better than any other person in her world; family, friends, colleagues, fans. I don't understand why some people feel the need to villainize Robyn and undermine what she shared with Whitney. It's obvious the music industry and Whitney's family were running the show. To quell any rumors and rise to such an unfathomable level of fame, Whitney made a choice. There were people with extremely high expectations relying on Whitney and she felt the pressure, so she ended an important part of her life; much to her dismay, because she was miserable living for Hollywood, her family and ultimately, the world. What a sad story. Robyn seems genuine. She was a mainstay in Whitney's life for years, even after the fame, but the reality was to remain a secret. Robyn Crawford was *not* a rendezvous; she was everything to Whitney, but feeling pressured, she sacrificed the love of her life for the industry.
RIP Whitney Elizabeth Houston, forever a legend.

When Robyn described the night when Whitney was preparing the dinner for Eddie, I can see how in love she was with Whitney, but she knew that Whitney was in love with Eddie. It's not easy to be in love with someone who doesn't have the same feelings as you. Their friendship was more than a sexual relationship.

I have always felt that Robyn and Whitney loved each other more than they could share with their families and public. That changed nothing for me because I’m still a fan and have always looked at Whitney as human first and had soft eyes for all she has been through. Still miss her like crazy, I bought Robyn’s book as soon as it was available because I knew she would tell the truth.

Her struggles were her own life challenges, that had nothing to do with having a Fling in your, youth, someone should have learned to move on and grow....stop looking back trying to be really special to someone that has grown away from your journey...

It’s a pretty great book to read.
This book take me back where people in the 80 era and 90 era are very secretive about sexuality identity and drugs issues. I remember growing up in 1990. We don’t talk about drugs and sexuality when I was a kids. Because being gay and lesbian even transgender and crackhead is shunned. I’m glad that Robyn talk about it in pure detail how 1980 and 1990 was at that time.
Anyway, I’m gonna finish up this Robyn Crawford book.

That s good. I'm gonna read it once I get my hands on it...I wish there was more Whitney bios. Because as famous as she was, I really don't know that much about her. I think the woman wanted peace quiet and privacy but the media itself was no help to Whitney's lifestyle and helped led to her downfall and death. Her mother even said Robyn act like she had something on Whitney. She did. She could have destroyed Whitney and Whitney knew it. Robyn was handled with kid gloves.

Whitney was very lucky to have Robyn in her life as long as she did. She is such a smart woman and her devotion is clear. It's too bad she was eventually pushed out. It's too bad she couldn't help Whitney in her battle against addiction. But Robyn deserved her own life and I'm glad she has had that opportunity. I hope her book sells well. It's a beautiful story of friendship and it feels extremely honest and real. I hope a movie is made about it. I'm glad there was a happy ending for Robyn. Though I'm sure she would love to still have whitney alive and even in her life though it seemed like that couldn't really happen in a healthy way, unfortunately.

Likely this was the most suiting and loyal friendship Whitney ever had. Great to be loved by someone this deeply. Hope, Robyn is very happy now, this relationship was on the brink of being toxic for her.
Robyn is amazing. While I completely understand her maturity and acceptance of Whitney's decision, I still feel broken hearted for the pain she went through watching not only Whitney's separation from her, but also her self destruction. For someone who clearly loved Whitney so deeply, it was probably the most frustrating position to ever be in.

Oh my gosh. This woman loved Whitney so much she d settle just for being friends to continue being a part of her life and be there for her. I dont think she EVER stopped loving her more than friends but she just knew there was no future for them in that time nor could there ever be. She loved Whitney so much she d settle seeing her happy even if it wasnt her. Though in her little comment of "she wish it was her" those deeper feelings she held down n supressed for the sake of their friendship creeped up. She like an amazing person i can understand why she and whitney loved each other the way they did.

When Whitney’s career was about to blow up she was told that it if it cam out that she was bisexual and in a relationship with a woman it would hinder her career and that she needed to break it off with her and after that Robyn was ostracized from Whitney’s life by her family and her management
I’ve heard many people speak who were “close” to Whitney. Not her mother, not her brothers, not anyone has spoken so in depth and passionate as Robyn. Only God knew what Whitney was going through, but there was a kind of love that God only knows.
All of us are lucky if we get just one true friend in our lives. One genuine friend is more than many will have.

I’m not so sure. I saw her as possessive and thought she was feeding her drugs when I saw them together in the studio. It’s only now looking back I see how manipulated Whitney was. That jealousy thing was raging. No one was going to hurt Whitney yet robyn warned me don’t look or speak to Whitney as I’m going in to do backup vocals. This was at Kashif studios RIP Whitney. I remember her chain smoking, I think doing coke , but when it came time to sing it was gorgeous❤️ I heard her sing in this small room. Just beautiful and right on cue.

So, for the ones that feel hurt by what her best friend is saying, or saying this is destroying her legacy...don't be and it's not. She's speaking on what "she" know, not on what "we" think "know". Don't take it personal, there's no possible way that you can. It may surprise some bc they truly thought they knew Whitney, therefore you're hurt, but you didn't know her personally. I love the way Robyn talks about her dear friend Whitney! You can tell they were very close and thought well of one another by the way she speaks about Whitney. I saw the movie they did of Whitney... so sad they way her father stole money from her, and basically gaslighted her in her lifetime. I love her voice!
