It kinda isn’t ubisofts fault, they have to make money because they have to pay their employees, if they didn’t charge money they would have to fire many programmers ruining their lives.

Been with the game since 2015, was a wild ride, one of the best games i laid my hands upon, taught me alot of things, still playing casually nowdays, it is still enjoyable.
It is enjoyable indeed because there are some hilarious people
the game that shaped my childhood, lowkey spent like a good 4 years on this game because even if you're just a casual there is so much more to it than that
i like how you make the point "this game is shit." its valid and real, i use to find growtopia fun but even at the time it was fun i thought "this game is fun but it's also like garbage and really dumb" and thats how i feel about a lot of games tbh, and nobody else i've explained this to has really understood

I have played this from 2013 and I always quit and rejoin, repeatedly to check on the game's state. Until now, it gets worse and worse.
Same with me bro, i lost both of my biggest accounts for little reasons. I got perma banned. I had some little accounts too and they were banned like 720 days. I waited 2 years and installed the game today to check. It gets worse every time i join. It doesnt have the taste no more
Its so sad, I started in 2013, quit in 2018 because casinos and bots. It used to be a extremely innovative and fun game to play with friends and I also made so many good friends there, too bad it slowly turned into this corrupt business model simulator where you do morally wrong things in order to get ingame currency. And currently its just casino and bots. Soulless.
its funny how the people also changed in game. Everyone used to be so friendly, appreciative and talkative, now its just cold "rich" people doing corrupt things just to get even more currency. Its funny, its quite literally showing human nature on how power corrupts people.

Ubisoft made good items design it's just they release too much and the bots are uncontrollable, I'm scared that Growtopia will end up like Team Fortress 2

You should also review the history of dead worlds that were popular, or places where people got banned and had to be taken by mods
there is 60-80k online, the players assume that 10k may be the real player count.

Wow, I'm also an OG player. I remember back then when WickEr10 had 200 Diamond Locks , and BenBarrage copied him without giving WickEr10 credit. BenBarrage essentially stole WickEr10's ideas and copied his video.
WickEr10 made actually good content and switched to Fortnite when he realised there was no more quality content to createn BenBarrage used same "like and comment your world name" method to keep his content going.
Without WickEr10 this game couldn't get that attention
@AxHEX benbarrage only good videos are his skit. He's really good at editing but he does show it that often and he hadn't made a skit in like 4 years

I've played Growtopia since it came out, my secondary account named "extra" (main one got hacked) is 4075 days old. I remember staying up all night just farming dirt, this game literally helped me learn english, but most importantly it taught everyone that you shouldnt trust anyone, that even the closest person would scam you if they get the chance.
Back then there were no massive item worlds, people would make a part of their world their shop and would broadcast like "i sell cheap things". Now everyone is fucking rich left and right almost every player has a dozen dls cuz they made bank off of this casino bullshit which is 100% scam and benefits only those who arrange it, a single world lock was a precious thing but now its treated like a 25¢. All the rich fucks act entitled even though they bought dls from some random ass site with their mommy's credit card. This game was not pay to play, before it was all trading, if you need or wanted something you would go to a populated world and just trade people all day long, if you didnt have enough wls you would offer something instead, i do believe Growtopia had one of the most lively rapidly changing /evolving economies in any online videogame ever, but now theres none of that, every fuck has a shopworld filled with hundreds of vending machines, 0 human interaction even if there was everybody is rich anyways.
Also mods were active and frequently interacted with players, one mod used to do races from time to time and i remember winning 2, the prize was just a world lock but nobody cared about that, we just loved being together.
If you think about playing Growtopia, please don't, its not worth it, the game is filled with bots that spam casino ads, people that run those casinos, and the rich fucks that only care about getting the latest item and play casino 7/24. I only play from time to time just for pure nostalgia which is slowly being erased with how much the game has changed.
I tried playing it not long ago but my main problem is how much the servers were lagging

Started playing since 2013-2014. Stoped a year later after they added those abominations called vending machines. It might be an unpopular opinion, but the whole beauty to me was the interaction we had with each other. Now is mostly just bots farming 24/7… what‘s even the point anymore?

well actualy its around 10-15k which is easily proven at the time when they made a hard fix on bots for a week and entire week there were only 15k online at max

@@pianistcatgt4498 Yea I remember. Actually that fix was a bug LOL. It was early this year if I recall around easter or something. They stopped production of non email accounts and virtual machine but they found how to bypass it rather quickly.
It is around 10k and you'd see it already from the fact that there's 2-3 worlds that are constantly full, when back in the days there used to be tens of full worlds.

good video, but if anyone here actually still played the game you would know there's about 20k real players online daily and around 25-30k bots and bro completely skipped over world locks for some reason??? the real main currency??? like the whole economy fr runs on world locks not gems but maybe its just been that long since this guy has played the game.

Good video, but 10.000 active players? They still average 40-60k active (also counting bots). Lately they hit around 80k due to events. The game definitely isn't dead, but the old players have left and the fun is gone.

Exactly I remember when the most expensive items wasn't more than 20dls and now there isn't reallyicj you can buy for 20dls. News players are forced to buy dls with real money if they wanna get anywhere quickly. You can either grind the game for a year and get a bgl or you can spend 25$ amd get one instantly. Same argument for dls. You could eaother spend like 10-20hours grinding for 1dl or you can spend 20 cents

The game is not dead at all. Once it had 100k people online then 40k and now goes arround 80k. Dont see how it has fallen off, yes the content is repetative but what do you expect like they have milked every possible event to maximum. It is a childrens game.
