how about an added system to remove some of the default items from the pool you use also? That way you could buy to remove Tornado from your item pool for a round in addition to other buys.
Absolute gold, only thing missing is guh falling asleep, but all the other boxes got checked. Jg threatening his monitor, leth hitting clips and brushing it off like it was nothing, and Danny absolutely peaking out of nowhere then throwing the very next play

So, this may be the first time Leth didn’t hold back against his friends, in search for points. I have never seen them rage as hard, and it was beautiful. Maybe not sustainable, but it was awesome to see your big brain merk

this would be suuuuper strategic if you got the opposing team's points to buy...might result in people throwing games BUT it would prevent teams from getting even more OP after winning
Yes great idea and make it so you could remove 1 of the starting power ups of like 200 or 300 points

I know you mentioned at the end that the free power ups help even out just getting spikes only. But what if you could pay to get rid of one of the free powerups. Maybe the same price as the spikes, so you could buy spikes and get rid of tornado for 2000. Which would give you higher odds of getting spikes but it would be pretty expensive to do it
I was thinking the same thing. But there would have to be some limitation like you can only remove 1 power up a game. Or you could add a powerful to an opponent.

This is fantastic. I would say a nice mechanic to add might be the option to pay (probably a lot) to remove a starting power up. It seemed like buying something didn't seem to matter when it never appeared
OR, you pay to add mediocre power ups to your opponents' pool
Rumble looks better if you gotta pay for the powers

Hey Lethamyr! Love the videos and maps! Had actually a map and game suggestion. I don't know if you ever played Final Fantasy 10. But in that game had a game mode called Blitzball? Should totally see if you can maybe make something like this? I remember the map being under water, and it was a huge circle/octagon type map. The goals were triangular, and the ball could be held onto and passed. It also seemed that it was a 5v5 in the game. I think it would be pretty cool to see in rocket league tbh. But yeah again thanks for all you do!

People who understand that leth is the most dangerous creature alive with that particular power, the man makes tornado and magnet in particular look like the most op things to exist, despite their notorious control issues for most players
Leth, I have a great idea for a game mode but you might have to create a map for it. I'm not sure if you are familiar with racquet ball, but that is the general idea. Ideally, you'd have a cubed court that's small like dunkhouse with a drop-shot style floor except the whole floor is only one "tile", and every time one team returns the ball into one of the side-walls, the floor resets for the opposing team's colors. So if blue hits the ball into a side wall, the floor resets to red unbroken, then red gets one floor bounce to return it to a side-wall and the floor switches back to blue unbroken. My buddy and I were theory crafting and wishing, but you actually have the skill to maybe make something like that happen. I think it could be super fun. Keep making great content, figured I throw my idea in the hat.
Definitely a cool idea! I'm also thinking this could be cool with totaling your teams' goal speed (kph) as the currency instead of points

To modify the idea, what if you can buy the power-ups based on your in game points (1 time use). It would subtract from your points and you would have to build back up to buy something else. So it is like the multi-rumble mode where you have different length of time cooldown but what becomes available increase as your score increases.

I do wonder if he uses this kind of concept as a bargaining chip for getting his friends to help make content.
An idea to help balance this gamemode:
Every power-is available in the shop. Tornado, swapper and disruptor are free.
Expensive items are more expensive.
Cheap items are cheaper.
The amount you spend at the beginning of each game is the average of all your prices instead of the sum.
Just something to think about (If Leth ever reads this anyway).

imagine you do the same video idea, but you need to "buy" the items with your boost. So, for example, spikes would cost 100 boost, while the other can cost like 10, 25, 50, 75, or 100. You can grab normal boost after use. I have no idea how this could be possible in any way, but i think it would be kinda nice tho...

Game mode idea: when someone hits the ball you teleport around the map
I have a video idea! I was wondering if you could freeze two balls in place on ether sides of the map, and instead of hitting the ball around, you hit a goal around! (So basically, just the ball and the goal switch places)
Would love to see this format back again in a 3 v 3 between 3 of you and the top 3 Rumble players in the world. Would be interesting to see what the rumble mains decide to do and what crazy combos they come up with.
You should do this again but with tactical rumble, and when you buy a power up it replaces one of the starting 3 so you always get the 3 in your load out as options to use

We made the prices based on how the 4 of us felt how useful it was. Personally I'd put it higher but they know how good I am with magnet hahaha
Hey Leth! an idea for next video of this: how about the ability to spend even more points on a power-up to get a stronger version of it? Such as spending 500, 750, or even 1000 points for example to upgrade Tornado to get a version of it that can pick up people from halfway across the field. An upgraded version of the grapple where it homes in on their net a bit after you hit it, or a much more powerful, hard-hitting haymaker. Spikes could even last forever unless disabled by another powerup like teleporter, also providing potential strategy when it comes to predicting what power-ups your opponents will purchase.
I don't know if you will see this, but seeing something along these lines in the next video of these would be so, so awesome. Thanks for reading.

It plunges the ball, then it drags it. A plunger IS a suction cup.
If i had to rate leth as a TH-camr 1 out a ten i would rate him 1000
Fun idea to change it up: The points earned go to the opposite team, so the team that loses has an advantage for the next round.
A cool aspect to add to this would be you can buy a power up twice or more with each additional purchase taking off one of the original powerups to boost the odds of getting what you buy.

you should do a video where you have slow boost recharge and you have to buy rumble items with the boost you have. idk if thats even possible to make work, but it would be interesting to see the strategies yall come up with

Hey Leth, amazing idea... for the next time you can try to balance adding some buyable malus: I can buy powerups and I can also forbid the purchase of certain powerups to opponents, obviously with a higher price
Ok - this exact game mode, but the winner is based on number of goals, and the team with the most money leftover gets an extra two goals added to their score.

Can I give you an idea? If you said yes, great… could you randomize the boost tiles around the map, so like the tiles could go on the walls and maybe even the roof. I saw the “Ball goes slower but I don’t tell my friends” episode yesterday and got this idea… I love your content

I made this before and didn't post the video because no one used the pads on the walls, it ended up just being less boost around the field. Going on the walls was too inefficient

If you all ever do this again i think being able to buy a faster cooldown for items would be cool too! Maybe like 750 points for 2 seconds less of the 10 second cooldown!

Same thing, except adding the option to spend points to remove abilities.
OR everyone starts with all the powerups, and you spend to remove certain ones.
I think this would be better if the time between powerups changed as you bought more power ups. Like each item you have happens once per minute on average. So if you only have one item, then it takes 1 minute, if you have two then the cooldown is 30 seconds, three is 20 seconds etc.
This way its only a good thing to add more powerups, since it doesnt dilute the pool for the stronger ones. It also doesnt make sense to only buy spikes, since it would just be better if you also had other powerups to use inebetween.
