My mom had an Atari 2600 in her day, my dad had an Intellivision in his, & in the early years of their marriage, they had briefly had an NES. I was _destined_ to get into retro gaming. 😄
I owned about half these games. My favorites were sea battle, Astro smash, demon quest, shark shark, snafu, dungeons and dragons (both games), lock n chase, Pac-Man, baseball, football, skiing, beauty and the beast, hated that my intellivision 2 wouldn’t play carnival and donkey Kong. Had to break out my intellivision 1 for that!
Holy cow this just brought amazing memories with my dad. Thank you for taking the time to post all of these!! Shout out to Night Stalker and Astromech plus the football and baseball games. So many memories!!
Some of these are not the right game -- for example, that is NOT Scooby Doo, but an early Santa prototype game. Also, the speech is missing from all of the Intellivoice games.
I think this video shows that both systems had some shocking games, so it is best to focus on the best games on each system. Some versions are clearly better than the 2600, others less so. Some of my favourite games on the 2600, such as Frostbite and Hero got upgraded graphics on the Colecovision but lost their charm somewhere along the way as well. I like Demon Attack equally on the 2600 and Intellivision for different reasons, but a game like Atlantis is clearly better on the Intellivision.
Wow! Some of these examples are soooo bad. Its like a robot picked em out. Or a maybe a suburban mom on valium. B-17 Bomber - are you kidding? Dreadnaught Factor - what?

You did Dreadnaught Factor dirty.

nice video... at times i cannot help to think " someone is drunk playing video games" 🤪😁
lol
Triple Action was neat because it was 3 different games on one cart. And Sharp Shot was like 4 games.
Funny thing is this was advanced for the time... Until the Atari 5200 and Coleco vision
These games were awesome for their time!
For sure. The fun factor was high!
