Thanks. I went with Apricot Tours. You can also look at Hunza Guides Pakistan as an alternative. These groups are more affordable compared to other larger outfitters
Amazing! I envy the people who are on this trek and have you to so beautifully document this incredible experience. Too bad you didn't get to cross GGLA. Question: Which company did you use, and would you recommend them? Were you a solo traveler who joined a group trek or is this a group of friends going together?
Thanks. I tried my best to document my experience, while also sick, but this wasn’t my first rodeo. Yes it was unfortunate we couldn’t do the pass, was very eager to see the other mountain side such as Laila peak . We went with a local company Apricot Tours, joined a set departure date in July. You meet all types of folks in the group from across the globe, so I would highly recommend going in group tours, however there will always be some compromises trekking with people who may or many not have the experience to do this trek. Of course, if you can gather a group of your friends to join you, the merrier. Regarding the tour company, there are other similar local tour companies that offer the same itinerary and cost. I would read their reviews and ask plenty of questions before deciding which outfitter to go with. While our time with this outfitter wasn’t the greatest, the experience, nonetheless, was worth it.
Continue to monitor travel advisory, and while I’m a Canadian, as long as you’re with a group tour, it’s relatively safe. We were with other Americans in our group and many other foreign nationalities

great video detailing the trek!...going this june...which month did this trek take place? year and exact dates please?
I went last July. For June, expect some snow at higher elevation a no s even more at ggla pass, and windy and cooler temperatures.
Amazing but I’m afraid as an American I would not be welcomed there but would love to do this in the near future

Went in July. Less snow, and not as hot compared with August
