Bitter jealous comment here. "Expensive". This is the price to pay for a modern network, with well-maintained roads, and quality facilities, such as rest areas or modern gas stations, in which you can find restaurants, shops, hotels, and other services.
Having driven on other European motorway networks, I can safely say that most of them are lousy compared to the French motorway network, which is probably the best in Europe.

Wonderful episode, that brings back sweet memories of the past, when I travelled the same route with three friends from Britain, heading to Barcelona, I joined them in Paris on my way to Montpellier and got off the vehicle in the biting winter cold, to head to Le Arcs and further to Montpellier.

My last trip this summer was on a bike with a friend, we started from the Belgian Border in Charleville-Mézières, to Toulouse.
2days trip as we took our time ( vacation ), only a few part of the travel was made on the highways, majority on national roads !
Still recognized some parts of my travel on your vid, great memories !

Maravilhoso e muito lindo essa viagem .
Paisagens lindas e que estrada feita com muito capricho, a ponte achei legal ela ter o lugar para o pedestre caminhar, pois aqui no meu pais , principalmente na minha cidade eles nao pensam na pessoa que vai passar andando ou ate mesmo conduzindo uma bicicleta , geralmente uma ponte ou um viaduto nao tem a passagem do pedestre e por isso dou mil parabens para os engenheiros desse pais.

Ride is almost fully in France until 57.54 ; sad that the actual border crossing is not shown… (info given at 55.58 « Espagne in 10 minutes »). By the way, you should drive on the right lane, it is nor permitted to remain on the center lane unless to overtake (see at 57.24).
