Great tip, that is an awesome sound for the GT-1! Recently I bought a download of effects patches for the GT-1 and am really surprised RUSH was not on there being as Lifeson basically invented using pedals to emulate the studio recordings
Thank you! Lifeson's hollowbody was a big part of his sound too. What i would do for Rush tone is basically a dirty Marshall, a chorus and a tap delay.
Not sure if it's just me, but I find it odd that there isnt a dedicated metronome built into this thing. Especially with all of those note settings. The bpm tap can work as a fake metronome, if you use the looper and play a note.
Wow that's so funny I was just curious about the difference for BPM and delay tap the other day 😂
Ty sir
"Hidden" bpm setting .. that's a critical secret. Thanks!
We need more of these GT-1 tutorials!! This little effects processor is a powerhouse, we need help, lol. Thanks for the great videos!
Thanks! You can also set the ctl1 to be Delay Tap directly, effectively quarter note, but then you don't have to scroll the delay time

@@GarySchutt Thanks, I'll try it.
Amazing how when they did the 2112 tour they had no where near anything Boss makes today!
this is awesome. thanks!
Could you please turn off the distortion? It'd be a lot easier to detect the delay if you ran clean tone.
Awesome info your sharing here for sure . How about a patch for the song Heaven and Hell ? The delay in the lead is a beautiful thing .
Thank you! If I have time, I'll do it tonight.
That was great!
Awesome! Thanks man!!
fantastic!!!
He does it YET AGAIN. LMAO. THANKS BROTHER.
