Those jobs will not be going to people of that neighborhood lets be real. They are going to push the current residents out. They are training their people for their jobs not ours.
This is the price you pay for driving off the tax base with absurd amounts of crime, blight, and squalor and create food deserts. These people are such a basket case nightmare.
@@blacktaxcollective5299 no. Crime causes poverty far more than poverty causes crime. Impoverished white areas don't have nearly as much crime. As usual you people do everything to avoid personal responsibility for your hugely disproportionate crime rates.
Our family home was move to a different location because of change. Don't sell!! Our family had to fight back to keep our family home. Those memories don't go away and live from generation to generation. #StopGenification and renovated and restore those beautiful nostalgic homes.
This is what they get; keep the area and property up and they couldn't come in and develop anything; it would have been occupied an the area nice; the white ppl left the are to blacks and move to the county, look how they ruined the area and property; lying Michelle Obama saying that white ppl left the area in shambles; so they messed up the area b4 they moved to the county? That is stupid and makes no since!! She is a liar!!!
Those in this comment section only speaking about crime and illiteracy, you really have no clue what you're talking about. Man that is the simple problem. Not the real problem. Tax revenue was taken away long before the crime started. That is actually what brought on most of the crime. Once it started, it never stopped. Kinloch, MO is the same way. The first President to ever land in Missouri, landed at the Kinloch Airfield. A mostly black city. Kinloch built a horse racing track. Missouri waited until after the track was built before they banned horse racing in Missouri. Kinloch is a prime example of what happens in these communities. Lambert Airport got into business with the Kinloch Airfield. They wanted to buy land out of Kinloch. I believe they planned to expand Lambert Airport across 170, and also build shops and other neighborhood amenities. Lambert literally did NOTHING WITH THAT LAND. That land literally has looked like a trash dump for years. Like, it will make you wonder if you're in a twilight zone when you first drive into Kinloch. I was a volunteer FF out there for a year. There was no tax revenue whatsoever. By my generation, Kinloch was already destroyed.
Some people just recreate the same shitholes of Africa everywhere they populate. You don't everything to absolve people from personal responsibility and defend their enormous crime rates.
So if there’s no incentive for money, with poorer more rundown communities, high crime rate, and less economic growth potential, what’s the issue with businesses coming in and redeveloping the area. Unless, of course, you’re basing that stance off who stands to lose more (the residents), which is unfortunately the process of life. People come and they go, economic opportunities come and they leave, at the end of the day someone is going to get the short stick, because not everyone can be a winner. Now, let’s say you’re basing this off the ulterior motives of these investors have as something more sinister and evil - particularly because of the people involved - well, you’d have a lot of prove first needed before you could every legitimately come to that conclusion.
What area are you talking about because 170 is flanked by a bunch of buildings on both sides and the area by Kinloch east of the airport is heavily industrialized with the likes of Amazon and others. Are you referring to the SE corner of 70 and 170 intersection with the small chunk of forest?
When the local population is so crime prone you can't build anything without materials and tools getting stolen, workers harassed, locals cause food deserts with the high crime that runs the tax base off, your children are so stupid and unteachable productive people don't want their children in failing schools, nobody taking care of their property and blight everywhere, nobody in their right mind is going to invest.
This dude really just tried to compare Stl property to the Mecca.
Property taxes are about to skyrocket
Gentrifications is evil

Poverty fuels crime... Except when the rich are involved....then glutinous greed fuels crime

How about you keep the area up and the crime down in the area and no one can come in and gentrificate anything!! Just pure laziness and self entitled
You are the liar.
