He's like old school Hollywood. He has that leading man quality. I'm completely in love with Spencer and Spencer and Alex's love story is beautiful and interesting. You can't help but root for them
Its good to hear him because he really is acting in 1923 not just playing himself ... he puts on a tougher voice and his facial expressions in 1923 are very intense .... so well done good acting as a hunter who survived the Great War.
If I don’t get to see him in Montana before the last episode I’m going to scream! I’m so ready to see him reunite with his family and for them to meet Alex!
I keep thinking they can’t possibly win the battle for the ranch without Spencer. He’s got to get there pretty early in the season. I love Cara’s comment about “my nephew”. “Yeah, I’ve met your nephew,” Banner’s scornful reply. Not overly impressed with John Jr. Brilliant Helen Mirren, with a perfectly timed pause, gets the message across. “The other one.” If that’s not a threat I don’t know what is. And I won’t even consider the possibility that either Spencer or Alexandra won’t be alive at the end of the season. I’ve been in love with Harrison Ford since 1978. I fully expect him to be dead, but I can’t face that either; nor Helen Mirren.
I think the "cowboy camp" is like a "get to know each other" thing just as important as the learn how to ride horses correctly. People get to know each other so much better when they spend time with each other that way. No spouses no children no parents.
Nice interview. I'm struck at the parallels between Spencer & Alex and Jacob & Cara...seems like sometimes I am watching the story of young Cara and Jacob. Similar comments by Jacob about Cara's talking, their ease together, their reliance on each other as Spencer and Alex. The strength that makes them the rock the family climbs to survive.
I wish you could have asked if it wouldn't give to much away if there will be any future reference about Spencer's parents death. Because his brother died fairly quickly into 1923 and we were left wondering how his mother was found in a snow bank.
Brandon reminds me of Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot in the 70's when they made Westerns - tough, rugged, man's man. It's encouraging to know that Brandon and Julie had 6 weeks of riding camp. Which means both will eventually reach Yellowstone. But as Sheridan has inserted this huge, and I think unnecessary, monkey wrench/obstacle in their way, who knows when they will get there. I thought the whole encounter with Author Sussex and his family was unrealistic. What are the odds of all of them running into each other at the same restaurant, same port, then the same ship at the same time? Spencer and Alex have had enough hardship already. They should've reached Montana in episode 8. So now who knows WHEN the two of them will reach Montana? Alex might be locked up by her own family since she's disgraced them. Alex might be stuck in a "Jane Austin" soap opera and be forced to marry someone else, live as a spinster in her family's home, unless she's pregnant. Then they probably will get rid of her to save face and "no never more to see her again." But all of that could take two or three seasons depending on how much Taylor Sheridan wants to stretch it out. The characters and acting by both Brandon and Julia is so incredible that they could have their own mini-series. Spencer fights lions and leopards for a living. Indian Jones never fought lions and elephants. Brandon is John Wayne and Errol Flynn - major hard a$$, major sexy, war hero and man of honor. Shall we put a red "S" on his chest? lol
If Brandon ever gets to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), he could totally play Baldur Odinson, the Norse God of Light and Thor's half-brother.
"Only one of them would live to see their own children grown (John) and only one would carry the fate of this family through the depression and every other hell hurled at them"... I'm predicting that Alexandra will die before or by the time Spencer gets back to Montana and the series will end there with season 1. In addition I wouldn't be surprised ifJack dies out of arrogance and then Spencer raises his son.
Yeah it's very troublesome that an incredibly sexy woman who makes her voice so sultry isn't German. 🙄 How disappointing. Too bad she wasn't a pigmy with a bone in her hair. That would've been original.
He trimmed up his facial hair, that's what you're noticing. Looks more boy than man. His first impression on you was made when he was a lot scruffier in the show is the version of him that solidified in your mind when you made your opinion about him. Seeing him now a bit more "cleaned up", is jarring to your senses from what you're used to. It's not the camera lense. It's just him w/ facial hair vs him without it. There's an old saying that there are two kinds of people in this world, men with beards, and women.

Their story is great. Oscar worthy performances in a tv show.
agree 100%
Spencer&Alex, one of the best TV couples ever
Amy Join the club!!
I can see a bruce wayne in him

He is ridiculously good looking. And ridiculously talented!
it's the czech slovak gene
His voice😌
Thank heaven. I love these two together. I'm rooting for them
One of the most romantic stories that dovetails so wonderfully with adventure and high stakes drama. This show is of epic proportions!
How come I've just known this actor? 🤔 He's definitely a darling.
I just LOVE 1923 the story line is so good!! Same with 1883 just so good!
1883 and 1923 are my favorite! I’m so glad they brought Elsa’s character to narrate! She’s such a great actress! Brandon is going up from here!
If I don’t get to see him in Montana before the last episode I’m going to scream! I’m so ready to see him reunite with his family and for them to meet Alex!
haha me too
I will scream louder! They’d better!!
How are you doing today? 😪

That Batman voice (and physique too) ... James Gunn, you know what to do.
I'm a fan of the show and already love his work. Love th Yellowstone series, 1883 and 1923.
Awesome show awesome actor awesome interview!!!❤
Im I’m love with this two we need this old love and romance back in tv and movies
I think the "cowboy camp" is like a "get to know each other" thing just as important as the learn how to ride horses correctly. People get to know each other so much better when they spend time with each other that way. No spouses no children no parents.

I actually thought Cara and Jacob were the older version of Alex and Spencer 😅
Cmon guys let’s make this guy our new dcu Batman!!!!!
Yes!!!
I’m gonna fall for this
Man so hard when he plays Atlas Corrigan 😂😂
Ugh, can't get enough of this man lol
My favorite series of Yellowstone so far.... by far
love the mcm decor and especially the brutalist artwork of the space
yes ahh I caught this too!!! as an mcm fanatic this makes him even better imo!!!!
No wonder he rises to the occasion physically. They got the chemistry. Lol
Give this man cowl 🦇
Yeah😎
I must say the 1923 is buy far the best of the Run. Spenser and Alex or really WOW.
Talk about perfectly cast, running around Africa dressed like he's on safari. A great hunter.
Brandon could be the next James Bond. He looks great in a tux
Or the next Batman!
Perfect for Bond, James Bond!
Like the mustache helped define Tom Selleck’s rapid rise, Brandon needs to keep the mustache. Totally changes his image. He could be the next Selleck…
OMG! they got separated. Season 2 hurry up!
I wish you could have asked if it wouldn't give to much away if there will be any future reference about Spencer's parents death. Because his brother died fairly quickly into 1923 and we were left wondering how his mother was found in a snow bank.
Favorite character on tv since Lalo Salamanca.
handsome man.
There's enough air trapped under the boat to keep them alive. I'm preparing to cry. Hard
I am thrilled to watch season 2! My gosh! Taylor Sheridan is hard core to write this magnificent series! Please Urgent!!!!
I cant wait

I met a girl like that 50 years ago.. she got away
Atlas❤😍
In mcu recast he should play captain america
If Brandon ever gets to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), he could totally play Baldur Odinson, the Norse God of Light and Thor's half-brother.
Red dead redemption movie, cast this guy.
Wow, I'm kind of amazed that those were real elephants!!
In real life he acts like someone who would get their a$$ kicked by Spencer 🤣
I see younger wolverine on him ❤❤❤
Batman
He reminds me of Arthur Morgan
The last 1923 episode doesn’t look good for Spencer, his wife, or the Duttons.
"Only one of them would live to see their own children grown (John) and only one would carry the fate of this family through the depression and every other hell hurled at them"... I'm predicting that Alexandra will die before or by the time Spencer gets back to Montana and the series will end there with season 1. There’s a gravestone for Patience Dutton. Haven’t figured that one out yet.
Who is this guy…had to click on the video to figure who this guy is
It’s such a cliche to have an American guy fall for a British girl. I wish Alex were at least French or German.
Yeah it's very troublesome that an incredibly sexy woman who makes her voice so sultry isn't German. 🙄 How disappointing. Too bad she wasn't a pigmy with a bone in her hair. That would've been original.
@@paladin1726 It would have been cooler if she were German or Russian.
Hardly a cliche they've got great chemistry and it works so shut up hater
*SPENCER WILL DIE OF TUBERCULOSIS*
He gets it from the sailor during that time on the boat (From the guy who was coughing up blood). Mark my words.
NO NO NO
You are a joke
Do you need a better lens because he's not as handsome in your video as he is on screen

Nor as masculine....
Are you blind?
What a jerk he turned out to be! Scared of Ryan and Blake!
