Gyuhan is interesting - you really can't deny that. As far as dynamcis go, I find the two of them to be the most fascinating ones by far, beating out Jeongcheol by leaps and bounds. And it's especially Jeonghan's duality when being around Mingyu that creates this very odd and unusual tension. He can be a bit aloof and distant with many of the 17 members (I think Jeonghans lows in mood are no secret to anyone who really follows 17) but he takes this especially far with Mingyu. He flat out ignores him many times, as the video shows plain as day. Only then to totally contract himself by seeming to be visibly smitten during other occassions. Which, if you really think about it, is not all that surprising actually. Mingyu on-cam presents himself veeeery differently than off-cam. In the latter case he appears to be much more on the hard edge, more masculine and authorative in general, wheras 'normal' mingyu comes across as cheery- faced and nice, and - dare I say it - even a bit of a push-over. I noticed that often during their Vlives other members will outrightly scold Mingyu, even if he only said something in a joking manner, which often startled me. He is almost three years younger than Jeonghan, but during official shootings, it apöears to be the other way around.
years of being a carat and only in the soop 2 made me a gyuhannie. that ATV date sealed the deal for me. and then the gyuhan rabbit hole. I had to rewatch everything.
On cam Migyu: We do not match. Jeonghan: In hotels, we do not share the same room. Off cam: Me: Like where do you find a pair where they say that they do not match yet they whisper/cling to each other and stares like reading each others mind.
