The soundtracks never fail to become bangers honestly you cant deny that each Final Fantasy game has at least one amazing soundtrack even if the people consider the game as "bad" well that is my personal opinion though
What strikes me is how confident this game is. Multiple trailers, showcases, a definite release date, and they'll also release a demo before launch. Hope this FF will be the best one yet. So stoked.
It hugely due to them having to develop only for the ps5, the devs even said that the game is coming out when it is due to the power of the ps5. If they have to optimise it for PC's(which they will do in the future) it would have taken a lot longer to release.
The scene from 20:16 to 20:42 is my favorite part of this, seeing Phoenix fight Ifrit(?) from those camera angles, especially the scene of Phoenix majestically flying backwards shooting fireballs at him while that amazing music is playing is equal to watching a blockbuster with a 200 million dollar budget in the theater. I honestly feel the developers are confident and sure that this will be an amazing game that people will love and enjoy, it feels more like an actual labor of love and less of just a game releasing only to check the usual boxes for just a profit margin.
Seeing Phoenix flying is what makes me look forward to the most. Idk what it is but seeing Phoenix chasing bahamaut at 22:50 that little scene got me like Yooooo!!!!!! Phoenix just looks so smooth when flying
the whole fight scene between Phoenix and Ifrit in this trailer shows some traces of the lotr when Gandalf is fighting belrog while they fell down the cliff, fascinating!
I was 9 yrs old when FF came out on Nintendo. I put so many hours into the original. Looking through Nintendo power magazines at maps to help me through. Absolutely insane how far they have come. Can’t wait to play this.
i laminated my Nintendo Power map for Final Fantasy 1. it wasn't just a map but a monstrous compendium, with all monsters' stats and elemental resistances. but i bet you knew all that :-)
That Titan Lost fight looks amazing and the fact that you're willing to show it off means you're confident that you can maintain the energy such a display carries in the actual game.
By showing that, it potentially opens the door for other Eikon's having a 'second' or final form of sorts.. Makes me wonder if that was the intention behind showing it off.. Amazing regardless.

It essentially states that all the content presented in that demo was curated specifically for the media/press to get a feel of eikon vs eikon battles and scenes in it may differ from the final product. -- Or something like that, paraphrasing. One could interpret that in a number of ways, but it's possible that Garuda could indeed have an alternate form as well. Just speculation but it's definitely possible.👌
What I really enjoyed about this presentation is that all of it is part of the gameplay. No cinematic to cover it up or hide it away, all in plain sight. Loved it and honestly towards the end, I couldn't grasp the smoothness with which the Eikon battles are being rendered in real time. Looks awesome!
To be honest FF16 looks like an evolution in every aspect. They are proud of it as they should be. All of it looks just outstanding, epic, cinematic and incredibly fun. Not to mention this game looks visually gorgeous. They did such an amazing job with this game. Everything looks so incredibly polished. So they really should be showing it all off. Also it reassures us as players that they are confident and have no reason to hide anything. It's going to be a great game.
I agree it looks absolutely insane!!! I usually get worried about rpg style games and was worried how the fight style departed from the old FF games or even the FF 7 remake style, and was so grateful they allowed equipment that helped players like me transition into the harder RPG battle mechanics

I just can't believe that this level of effort and funding goes into a single videogame these days. It's just so ultra-rare to get AAA games like this in this day and age (I would even call this a SSS game). But mainline Final Fantasy games have always been absolutely epic and massive each time. They're one of the few franchises along Zelda and others that always define a generation.
@@olbericaegis206 FFXV looks way too clean (ironically) due to art direction. It's not a bad thing but you can compare the two games and FFXVI sports more details and texture than FFXV.
Masayoshi Soken is a genious composer. If you do not know his work yet check some of the FFXIV ost. The man is considered to be the successor to Nobuo Uematsu for a reason.

They had no choice, Dark Souls Series and then the insane Elden Ring arrived, square enix had to do something grand, this may be the best FF game ever made.
This blew my mind on so many levels. Those camera angles and interactions during the fights looked like you were literally playing in a FF animated movie. Deluxe Edition here I come.

funfact: FF14 player mostly listening to the game soundtrack for years all the time now same composer working on it. for FF14 players, this is just another Soken's soundtrack added to their playlist.
@@pogoacct8611 98%completion as of yesterday. Now in level 33. After reaching 34 will have House Cup Dinner just like in the HP films. Except for the messy fog the game is a blast and lots of fun . I felt very happy for purchasing ps5 while playing Hogwarts Legacy. In fantasy genre Hogwarts and Persona 5 stands top in my list.

She was built up as the most powerful spellcaster in the setting almost...no one was expecting her to brawl, but she definitely should have been the Yuna of the group. She even 1 v. 1 Leviathan. I dig the Bros on a trip feel of the game, but quite literally the second half of the game should have been meeting up with Luna and likely a group of her own people and then being able to mix and match your team between the two. In fact that would have been a cool way to introduce Gladio's sister and make Aranea playable. Having defeated her, only to have her join up with your future wife as her new protector...yeah that could have been a cool development and source of conflict between Noct and Luna. Can you trust a former villain? And that's a theme that would feed into a later reveal as well.

Like this music seems to be sn updated version of the music used in the dominance trailer or maybe a upbest version but Golly the choir is what got me cause man O man is the music so epic already. Just imagine the music in context while actually fighting and exploring. I hope it can blow everyone away for GOTY
Really, do you all like Quick Time Events? Its not Final Fantasy, i dont get it, no tacttics, just buttom mashing and that it. I miss the old Final Fantasy Games.. Everything just grafics and no gemplay, just mashing and have the right timing. For 10€ i will trie it...
I'll never get over the Titan Lost bossfight. I love the OST, how the giant arm or tail comes to view going extremely fast with the amount of scale of the fight, and how it goes from cinematic to gameplay flawlessly. I'm sure alot of people insta swiped their cards as soon as they saw this fight. 😂
What I love most is that literally everything they have been doing with this game for the last year proves that Square actually has CONFIDENCE in this being an amazing game! The many press releases, the trailers showing actual in-game gameplay and cutscenes, answering the fanbase’s questions and concerns, explanations of the game’s systems and world, announcing the release date a full 6 months out and hasn’t been delayed once, even the fact that the game has already gone gold an entire THREE MONTHS before it’s release, which is nearly unheard of in modern gaming from the most loved game studios, are all positive signs that this game will deliver. The development team behind this game have all been open, honest and very transparent with showing this game off and are actually PROUD of the work they’ve put in up to this point! I am so ready for this game!!!!!!
Final Fantasy series needed a game like this. The past several titles have not had any industry stronghold. FF used to be a legendary industry breaking series, but got mixed reception ever since FF12. Now with FF16, I can finally take the series seriously again.
@@canadianturtle7240 i hate to break it to you but this probably will flop too. you can feel the developer crunch, there will be day 1 patches and loads of bugs. we'll just have to see in the demo. this will not be a finished product, none of the AAA studios ever finish their games before promising a completely unreasonable release date. maybe im being too harsh, but these AAA have burned me too many times for me to have hope for this game. plus they're moving away from the turn based jrpgs they're known for. maybe not a bad thing, but if this one is anything like FF15 was i will gladly pass this up in a heartbeat

Back in the 90's, when I was playing the earlier renditions of this franchise, I always hoped that a Final Fantasy would one day look and play like this.....Stoked beyond belief.

Just wanna mention 20:10 through 20:16 where you see Clyde inbetween ekion form and human form is amazing, I liked the look that the titan dominant had in the previous trailers where his body looked like it had rocks all over his arms and legs but seeing Clyde’s transformation into that sort of in-between form was just badass the fire encompassing his body and his legs and arms resembling that of ifrit, can’t wait to see it in game
I absolutely love that for those who are new to the FF series can play it as is, and others like myself that grew up on the FF series in the 1990's can recall things of old like Bahamut, Moogles, etc, and hints of music past :)
Open Zone is the future, it seems. Open World is gonna be a thing of the past soon I feel, more or less. Since almost no one can make Open Worlds that aren't filled with mostly nothing.
that's kind of the idea. They want to open up their fanbase by making the game an action which is more accessible. Not for me unfortunately as a long time FF follower.

The difference with that opening scene. Holy snap! The voice acting is so much more nuanced and dark sounding, and the visuals look are so much better then they were at that initial reveal trailer
This game looks gargantuan. It really seems like so much love and care went into it's creation from every single developer and artist behind the game. It was easily my most anticipated game of the year, but this video really just confirms that tenfold
I am amazed. This is going to be something breathtaking. Those Eikon battles reminded me of GoW (PS2) with the button timing and Shadow of the Colossus with the sheer scale of these battles - you *feel* them!! This game is SO gorgeous!! I can't wait to play it!!

Now THIS is a next-gen title, I haven’t really played a Final Fantasy title before because I haven’t had any interest in the franchise, but this game looks absolutely spectacular! The visuals, combat, environments, spectacle, enemy designs, soundtrack and everything looks and sounds amazing! I can’t wait to play this game!
Not really too much hype, would prefer more like star ocean style battles aka ff7 remake. But with 7 or 8 party members. This one just looks about the graphics and solo attacks.
It's a bland and basic hack n slash with no ideas. Nothing to do with Final Fantasy, this is just a re-skinned Devil May Cry. If making YET ANOTHER hack n slash with no creativity is "taking it to the next level" then the industry is doomed forever.
@Tri Sutrisno not really a response considering Madden, Fifa and COD sell massively every year and its the same game. Fans will buy every game in their franchise. This will sell because its titled Final Fantasy.
@@plankton383 Nope, every numbered FF is their own universe and is unrelated to each other. FF15 is not a prequel to FF16 as much as FF16 isn't a sequel to FF15.

This game looks epic. Looking forward to this world and going back to an original FF game. Music, Characters and gameplay looks top notch. The VA sounds amazing.
The gameplay looks amazing! Eikon abilities and the Eikon combat looks very stellar! It's clear a lot of work has been put into this game. 13:03 Torgal reminds me of a mini version of Dalamund, the goodest of bois from FFXIV. 🙏
Surely, I will miss customizing other characters, but it seems Clive offers a lot of stuff. I hope there be visual updates on his armor looks and weapons!
There is, they showed it in the PAX demo a couple weeks back or whenever it was. He has I think 3 pieces of wearable gear, plus the sword. All of which can be upgraded or found or bought from shops or forged using materials from side quests and monster hunts
As a lifelong FF fan who’s Games have played big parts In my Life since a kid, this looks like it’s about to be one of the best FF ever / RPG games period. Has me very excited!
Spinning around and hitting normal humans 1000 times in 30 seconds and them only missing 20% health seems so stupid imo. Makes it feel like it's ONLY flash.
Music never disappoints! Edit: Cant wait to see this game when it finally released! But I'm even more excited whenever the PC release comes out and modders will go crazy! It's remarkable the amount of care that the developers have put into this game. I know that every AAA game nowadays is a gigantic task, but this joins both bruteforce and care.
I mean, I was really disappointed with 15, so I did not pay to much attention to 16, but after watching this I know I want to play it. It might be missing standard RPG loot like in western RPGs, but one thing Japanese devs. and their games know how to do better than anyone else. is EPIC. They just know how to do things EPIC, GRAND, CRAZY etc. Looks EPIC :D
I'm genuinely in awe. That seems to be a remix of the Eureka Music from FF14 Stormblood at around 7:38 I expected some music nods to 14 but thats deeper than I expected. And I'm all for it
There is SO MANY XIV references and as a nerd for FFXIV playing since closed beta and an action game that you can actually do insane combos, I’m all in for it!
I have chills down my spine and tears trying to form in my eyes just WATCHING this gameplay, even with the bad TH-cam encoding, just totally entranced... I can't wait to see this unfold before my very eyes on my TV
I loved FFXV despite its flaws, but WOW, the hard work that went into this one is immediately apparent. It looks like there were no shortcuts taken this time around.

@@arthurbaker1592 Betting against a franchise that wins GOTY consistently every release is a bold move. I don't think it has a chance tbh. Grimdark open world has been done to death and particle effects only get you so far. Zelda has alot going for it over this 'entry' into the FF series.
I just started playing this game in February. If I had played this game back when it originally came out last year, this would have 100% been my personal game of the year.
This looks absolutely nuts. It's like what Yoshi-P imagines how his characters battles look in FFXIV. All those big epic fights and moments, now in a fully action styles game. Can't wait to see everything this game has in store.

@@pogoacct8611 98%completion as of yesterday. Now in level 33. After reaching 34 will have House Cup Dinner just like in the HP films. Except for the messy fog the game is a blast and lots of fun . I felt very happy for purchasing ps5 while playing Hogwarts Legacy.
In fantasy genre Hogwarts and Persona 5 stands top in my list.

@@asdbef3667 What are you talking about? She was built up as the most powerful spellcaster in the setting almost...no one was expecting her to brawl, but she definitely should have been the Yuna of the group. She even 1 v. 1 Leviathan.
I dig the Bros on a trip feel of the game, but quite literally the second half of the game should have been meeting up with Luna and likely a group of her own people and then being able to mix and match your team between the two. In fact that would have been a cool way to introduce Gladio's sister and make Aranea playable.
Having defeated her, only to have her join up with your future wife as her new protector...yeah that could have been a cool development and source of conflict between Noct and Luna. Can you trust a former villain? And that's a theme that would feed into a later reveal as well.

Like this music seems to be sn updated version of the music used in the dominance trailer or maybe a upbest version but Golly the choir is what got me cause man O man is the music so epic already. Just imagine the music in context while actually fighting and exploring. I hope it can blow everyone away for GOTY

I'll never get over the Titan Lost bossfight. I love the OST, how the giant arm or tail comes to view going extremely fast with the amount of scale of the fight, and how it goes from cinematic to gameplay flawlessly. I'm sure alot of people insta swiped their cards as soon as they saw this fight. 😂

What I love most is that literally everything they have been doing with this game for the last year proves that Square actually has CONFIDENCE in this being an amazing game! The many press releases, the trailers showing actual in-game gameplay and cutscenes, answering the fanbase’s questions and concerns, explanations of the game’s systems and world, announcing the release date a full 6 months out and hasn’t been delayed once, even the fact that the game has already gone gold an entire THREE MONTHS before it’s release, which is nearly unheard of in modern gaming from the most loved game studios, are all positive signs that this game will deliver. The development team behind this game have all been open, honest and very transparent with showing this game off and are actually PROUD of the work they’ve put in up to this point! I am so ready for this game!!!!!!
Final Fantasy series needed a game like this. The past several titles have not had any industry stronghold. FF used to be a legendary industry breaking series, but got mixed reception ever since FF12. Now with FF16, I can finally take the series seriously again.

@@canadianturtle7240 i hate to break it to you but this probably will flop too. you can feel the developer crunch, there will be day 1 patches and loads of bugs. we'll just have to see in the demo. this will not be a finished product, none of the AAA studios ever finish their games before promising a completely unreasonable release date.
maybe im being too harsh, but these AAA have burned me too many times for me to have hope for this game. plus they're moving away from the turn based jrpgs they're known for. maybe not a bad thing, but if this one is anything like FF15 was i will gladly pass this up in a heartbeat

Just wanna mention 20:10 through 20:16 where you see Clyde inbetween ekion form and human form is amazing, I liked the look that the titan dominant had in the previous trailers where his body looked like it had rocks all over his arms and legs but seeing Clyde’s transformation into that sort of in-between form was just badass the fire encompassing his body and his legs and arms resembling that of ifrit, can’t wait to see it in game

The difference with that opening scene. Holy snap! The voice acting is so much more nuanced and dark sounding, and the visuals look are so much better then they were at that initial reveal trailer

I am amazed. This is going to be something breathtaking. Those Eikon battles reminded me of GoW (PS2) with the button timing and Shadow of the Colossus with the sheer scale of these battles - you *feel* them!! This game is SO gorgeous!! I can't wait to play it!!

There is, they showed it in the PAX demo a couple weeks back or whenever it was. He has I think 3 pieces of wearable gear, plus the sword. All of which can be upgraded or found or bought from shops or forged using materials from side quests and monster hunts

It's remarkable the amount of care that the developers have put into this game. I know that every AAA game nowadays is a gigantic task, but this joins both bruteforce and care.

I mean, I was really disappointed with 15, so I did not pay to much attention to 16, but after watching this I know I want to play it. It might be missing standard RPG loot like in western RPGs, but one thing Japanese devs. and their games know how to do better than anyone else. is EPIC. They just know how to do things EPIC, GRAND, CRAZY etc. Looks EPIC :D

There is SO MANY XIV references and as a nerd for FFXIV playing since closed beta and an action game that you can actually do insane combos, I’m all in for it!

@@arthurbaker1592 Betting against a franchise that wins GOTY consistently every release is a bold move. I don't think it has a chance tbh. Grimdark open world has been done to death and particle effects only get you so far. Zelda has alot going for it over this 'entry' into the FF series.
There aren't many games that encourage me to buy an entire console just to play them... but FFXVI sure is one of them.
