I'm so delighted Ghost took a chance to do a headline show in Australia. 9 years of waiting for well worth those ecstatic 2 hours. So happy I could cry at the concert. Unfortunately I was bit too short for the pit standing area and barely saw Papa or the Ghouls and watched them vicariously through other people's phone screens. Still an amazing experience and sing and dance with the best songs for the duration of the concert. The numerous pyrotechnics explosions and confetti shows and stage set up. Ghost excelled. Listening to Kaisarion has a different feel now, it reminds me of the exciting start of the concert. I hope they've made enough money so far to convince them we worthy cash cows to come back for many headline shows in the years to come.
Only introduced to this band by word of mouth 6+ months ago - amazing. Then luck would have it, world wide tour, including oz - bought tickets to the Syd show when at Horden and "upgraded" to Quodus - as it turns out, one of the best concerts, if not the best, I have seen. Amazing night. So good live, audience engagement and entertaining. Young and old audience and therefore a credit to Ghost. The ending with the thanks to the crowd / throwing out picks/ set lists amazing. Well done!!! If $ were no object would have gone to Melb and Bris to see.

I got my ticket at the last minute and was worried I would miss it cause I'm in the middle of moving and relocating to Queensland. Been a long time Ghost fan since their first album, actually met the band back in 2013 at Utopia Records and got a "If you have Ghosts" CD signed by all the members and Papa himself. The show was phenomenal even though I was standing way at the back. Thank you very much for the quality upload so we can relive these beautiful moments again and again!
This was an amazing concert. Me and my friends and my sisters were near the middle of standing area so it was hard to see but the experience was incredible.
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing. Was at the Ritual in Melbourne, amazing night. One of the best shows I have seen. Something very special about this band.
We have been going to the same concerts lately, I’ve been keeping up with with you lately lol Babymetal, evanescence, Polaris and now ghost, I’m in Melbourne and have ghost tonight
@@lukewarmaus Probably also depends upon where seated. I filmed some songs where seated in Syd (first elevation) above GA and probably had beetter sound quality than this video right in front of the stage. Wish I was able to be at the BEC.
I wanted to go so bad with my elder sister but that day i was on the other side of Sydney and forgot that I bought a ticket😭 And i just remembered and im crying
The whole 2023 tour? Yes, a few songs have changed. But since they went to the US leg, no. They swap out Faith & From the Pinnacle to the Pit every few nights. That's about it.
@@GeekFurious not for the entire 2023 tour. I saw them at Copenhagen in June and the setlist was super short, they didn't even play Miasma :( barely 12 songs
I was at the Melbourne show last night, the sound mixing was horrible, most of the show was unintelligible. This videos phone audio sounds better. Pity as you could still tell the band was pure fire. Way to ruin an amazing show sound guy.
An overly delayed entrance opening, in the cold with long lines, to a delayed show, to a delay in the show start to the white drape getting stuck, then ofcourse the mix was bad, thought it was just at the festivals theyve been at that was the problem, nope.
@@stevequin1151I had ordered special earplugs prior to the concert so the sound level wasn't a problem at all, it actually made the concert in Sydney sound like a studio recording. I thought the Sydney concert was fantastic
@@stevequin1151 I was literally thankful I bought decent earplugs before the show. I thought I'd experience the real music and would occasionally take it off but the volume made me shove the plugs right back in their protective position. Hahaha
I'm a drummer, and I thought the sound was too loud. I usually take plugs to concerts but forgot them on Tuesday. Great concert tho. And I thought the mix was pretty good, bit bass-ey, but pretty good.
Toobias here. just dropping by to say what up. been busy lately with groupies and eating a good diet with alot of fibers. I need to sell a couple of guitars so if you know anyone let me know. Theyre pretty cool but i'll sell em cheap. oh and also, to that mom daughter team at the show backstage...you two were amazing and did wonderfully fiendish things. hope you liked the signed napkins. Peace out!
Dude this concert was so much fun, I was in the mosh pit! There was a kid recording the whole thing with a 3ds as well, loved it so much
Mosh was very weak and not much energy
@@mistermetokurarchivesthere was a sign that said no moshing
@@cutekellyyt6866 really? wtf? Probably because a lot of little kids at the gig

Grandpa - 68yo, my wife and I - 41yo, my 12yo son and 9yo daughter all had a blast! What an amazing concert. Thanks for uploading.

best concert of my life. i got a set list and a pick from swiss and a drum stick from mountain!
One of the most entertaining gigs I have been to. Epic.
I was there too, such an amazing concert! I didnt get there early enough to get so close though!
This was amazing, saw them in Sydney Tuesday and flew down to Melbourne for last nights show. We love you Papa!
This was easily the best concert I've ever been to.....had to travel from Perth for it and was 1000000% worth it.
melbourne concert was next level good . still blown away at how good they are live .
i cried and screamed the entire time it was so much fun! :3
Absolute showman ... that goes for the entire band!
I was there! Thank you for uploading this

Was there. Was an amazing show. One of the best I’ve ever seen
So excited about my second ritual in Melbourne tonight! Cheers for the upload mate! 😍 🍻
Was at Melbourne show last night. They rocked; guitars were HEAVY, which was great.
Always loved their cover of The Ship Song. The mixture of the two voices on that one is amazing.

loved it. 20:20 for a great comment before one of my favorite songs Cirice. Will definitely see Ghost again, legendary performance
Was amazing. Great concert. Thanks for uploading!!! XX Brazil ♥

I've always said Tobias herding his guitarists is rather like herding cats.
I was at barrier right next to Phantom’s stage! It was so cool!

It was Cirrus' time to shine and his keyboard failed.🥲
Her keyboard...Cirrus is a woman in case you didn't know. It used to be a man but he quit long ago.
What happened to that girl/boy at the beginning of Spillways? Why was she taken by security?
it is so damn hard to hear what he actually sings
Have they changed the setlist since the tour started?
I don't know. Check setlist.fm for other shows' setlists

The mixing was awful in Sydney also. And loud!! I like to 'feel' the music as much as the next metalhead, but not like a knife... in my brain!!
