There’s a palpable difference between a band that tries to duplicate Pink Floyd’s songs, and those who are so proficient at what they do that they can sound like Pink Floyd by just doing what they’ve always done as a band. This was excellent.
@@patrickbutler9744Absolutely! I find John not even a shell of what Sean is. The only thing good about John was imagine and the fact he had the money for Sean to go to that school in Switzerland for all the rich kids. I hear the music school there is better than Juliard. Take that for what it’s worth as Miles Davis said he learned nothing there but if you are Miles I bet you can learn.
Lennon doing Floyd with the Xylophone giving the middle a Zappa feel, and Les showed how Good a Bass Player Waters is here. Loved the Vocal exchange for that long note, so that's how they did it, I knew it was more than a delay but something they could reproduce live.
Awesome! Sheep is my favorite song from animals. I can't wait to see the show if they play one Primus song. I hope it's southbound pachyderm it follows animals so well.
Roger Water's bass-heavy writing style suits Les perfectly! And with Sean Lennon doing an admirable job on guitar, this is just a joy to listen and watch.
After your amazing video, Thank you for sharing!!!.....I have been counting down the days and cannot wait until Halloween in Nashville, TN!!! Meet Les again covering for my favorite Pink Floyd Album!!!
That bass sound (around 5:00) made me think, I'd love to hear what they do for the Stranglers, a song like Genetix. Also, OMG the guitar/vocalisation thing.
All he is doing is what Pink Floyd did. Hold a sustained note, then gradually increase the volume of a synth playing the same note. In 1977 it was innovative.
Right. I'm still warming up to it since it came out late 70's. I like it a little bit more each time I play it. Now I like it a little bit more. Love the Delirium.

You said it right
"Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream". Favorite Waters line of all time.
Oh, yes! Totally agree...
Sean Lennon is killing it. What a great guitarist he is!!!
Much better player than his old man 😉
@@patrickbutler9744 Not so sure of that, but he sings better then his mother for sure!

Fantastic video. They are the best. I love them so much! Claypool and Lennon were meant to make music together and their taste in covers is superb
Couldn’t agree more!
Their cover of Court of the Crimson King is also ridiculous. Like, better than when King Crimson and freaking TOOL did it together ridiculous.
Totally agree. Claypool and Lennon really complement each other well.
I’ll be seeing Frog Brigade this week at the Mission Ball Room in Denver. Can’t wait and thanks for posting this🙏
Such a great show!! You will have a blast for sure. Enjoy
So…..what did you think? I an still blown away by what I just saw last night in Denver
@@jeffadams9699 Napa show was absolutely incredible. Awesome set, great night of music

It's an easy bass part.

to be excact, Gilmour plays bass on the original recording of sheep, not Waters
So damn good!
I didn't know that Les likes Pink Floyd so much.
He did lots of Pink Floyd cover though

Hey, I filmed the show, too and would love to mix your video in with mine to make a 2 cam edit. Would you be okay with that?
Of course. Send me finished product...love to see it

Animals is the most underrated Pink Floyd album ever.
My favorite, by a mile

I do t even listen to Pinks Original anymore.
Just the Frogs.
And it’s at least 3 times a week.
Is Henry Waters on keyboard?
Sean is way to low in the mix. At 8 minutes the guitar should have completely dominated everything like Gilmour did.
Just gonna say it, not a hater, but Eenor did do it better
NOPE
