I am a Luo from Kenya. I am proud and I feel a sense of belonging when I listen to a song sung by one of a sub-tribe of Luo (Padhola). I get the message well. There is just a slight variation in pronunciation of certain word. Amor ahiny. Yesu emanyalo. Were bende omed bedo kodu duto. Aherou joluo ma Uganda. Here in Kenya we the Luo community lacks what other tribes here have. We lack our brothers (Acholi, Padhola, Alur, Nuer etc) while the tribes that claim to be populous are here in their entirety. The Luo would be like the Kenyan Kalenjin who are highland unlike us who are River-Lake nilotes. We miss you. If geography wouldn't had demarcated us into different territories, we would be in one region; the lake basin. I am overjoyed. Due to my adventurous nature, I am hopeful I'll visit Uganda to interact with my tribesmen. I hope to get warm reception because I will be going home. I know the Luo of Kenya and Tanzania language because it's one across. However, I'll have to learn Lep Alur, Dho Padhola kod mar Acholi. In Luo of Kenya and Tanzania we say Nyasaye (Were) ogwedhu (bless you). I love you all!
whenever ilisten the betty oyos song,it encourages me to trust in God,fro one glory to another glory,mi prayer for her God,shd continue anoiting her and to blee her
