The soul is the biggest coward in the Universe, it chooses a life of ongoing misery and suffering for the physical body entity while the soul doesn’t experience any of the suffering that the body entity does; for example when a person is in the process of being repeated stabbed, each time the knife plunges into the body it is the body entity that experiences the immense pain, not the cowardly soul hiding behind the body; therefore the soul cannot learn from this experience. Another analogy is when we eat immensely pleasurable food, because the body has receptors that are stimulated only the body entity can derive pleasure from the food not the soul, the soul is clueless about what any food tastes like thus cannot learn from the body eating; to say otherwise is like thinking one knows what it’s like living in a foreign country just by looking at a holiday brochure.

13 The dragon[a] stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea.
