Love how you painted this army!!! I wasn't sure I liked the look of them but you changed my mind!!!!! Plus if you just have to paint most of them with steel that saves a LOT of painting!!!!
Love your work. Couple of tips for games going forward: If a unit has FAST and gains SLOW, the 2 abilities cancel each other out. Normal movement ensues. After a combat, the charging unit moves back 1" from the opposition. (optional) I think the Vinci leader should change his mount to a boar and attach to the squad. It is a tough choice thought, the bird is so cool.
Love these vids. This Army gives me serious Final Fantasy 12 vibes. The mechanical chocobo, automas, mix of medieval weaponry and sci-fi elements combined with the aesthetic. Will put my Duchies of Dalmasca army on my "to-do" list which gets longer and longer each vid of yours I watch.
Btw for anyone playing aof having a single squad of snipers is incredible for a full size game, definitely an auto take to kill those expensive but squishy characters buffing the doom bricks
Before we even start, I'm on the fence as to whether or not to play this one. I don't really have an AoF pick yet. Currently I'm balanced between aggressive Beastmen or something more evasive, Vinci being on that list. Let's see how I feel after this; you usually hit all the important points and the showcase game helps a lot. Side note: that paint job is frickin' sick my guy. Vinci seems to be a very versatile army with their Automa options giving some crucial melee potential. They kind of remind me of my Jackals but WAY more efficient in how they do things. Their cav isn't as good and of course they aren't nearly as strong in melee, but there's no fat on their shooters (frickin' Carnivore eating up points on the Elites I'm still salty damnit) and their melees still perform well enough. Those brutes in particular seemed to hold their own very well. I'll give them a shot in my next TTS game, maybe pick up the STLs and print up an army, see if I can get them looking as good as yours XD good video my guy, looking forward to the next one o7
I do print, paint and play them for the videos. The armies I have showed off I had not played before I start making them for the video. All the armies I had before I started this series were not OPR models and I wanted to show off their model lines. I am inserting more of my "not OPR" armies in the polls every week and some of those I know very well. If your asking if I have play tested these armies before I play them on the channel? No I haven't. I was actually trying to find a spot to explain my thoughts on this but couldn't figure out how to bring it up organically. So thanks for the opportunity to lay out my thoughts. Here is the whole process. I look the army over and find the surface level synergies and design a list for it. Then I start printing. I usually find different tweaks to make to the army to make it "better" and if that is before the army makes it to the paint table then I can print a few more models and change up the list. If they are already getting painted it is too late to throw more in because the way i paint is "typewriter style". Pick one color at a time and everything in the army gets that color before moving to the next color. Are the lists I make and play 100% optimized. No the are not and that is by design. These videos are to get the army in front of the camera not about how powerful of a list you can make with the army. These are about cool models and fun games of OPR not the "net listing" and squeezing every last drop of power from armies that other channels do with other games. If someone want to be super competitive with OPR I say go for it, I can get you in the ballpark. But at the end of the day thats what the smooth brained orc disclaimer at the beginning of these videos is for.
@@WarbossFitz I didn't mean a competitive list. There's a lot of youtubers who mathhammer videos constantly and get so much wrong because of it. Synergy in the rules doesn't always play out on the table sadly. So it's nice to see videos from someone playing a few games with the models and talking their experience first hand.
You are my Hero!
As a newcomer in tabletop wargaming I was searching for an instruction like this one.
Thank you!
So many cool moments🎉 The single drone is my hero😂
As allways, a very entertaining Video ❤
I like the copper accents on the Vinci. I am thinking if this type of accent for my Vinci for the new Tixal narrative campaign.

yeah I saw that bird and just had to have it in the army
Thank you for making these videos, I enjoy listening to them while painting new models!
I do the same thing!

Really enjoying your videos dude and your painting is on point
Love this army. Thanks for covering it!
Your channel is SO cool. Keep up the great work. You encourage me to play and paint more.
This is the army that got me into OPR, loved the aesthetic, and I tend to run them as a more mixed faction with their 'beasts', lot of fun ^_^

Very Entertaining! Thank you for your hard work! Happy new year!
Great job! 🎉
Nice idea for 40k force.

Thanks for the comment! These guys were great fun to paint up and play.
Do you play these armies or are you just reviewing the lists? It seems more of the later to me.
Is the question am I the one playing them?
@@WarbossFitz Do you have experience playing the armies you're doing videos on? Do you own them and use them on the tabletop?

@@FleshCloud-ey5ro 😀 I know I just used your comment as a spring board to put the non competitive idea I had been kicking around out into the world.
SOOOOOOOOOO want Mummified undead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
da vinki!?
I really enjoy your videos, but I wanted to mention that you skipped every other special rule when describing them.
Yeah if it was a rule that only one unit in the army had I covered it when that unit came up.
