Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You mentioned having beads that you acquired that had glue in the holes. You can use a bead hole reamer to get that out. I have both a small manual one and a corded one. Pearls especially need a dig every now and then. It is worth trying before you toss gemstones. They are not expensive and there are many to choose from on Amazon. I purchased mine a long time ago so I don’t have a brand to recommend.

I wish you had a PO Box because I have TONS of embroidery floss in all different colors and I could send you some! I also have this really thin sparkly yarn in 8 different colors that would be perfect for tassels! Maybe one day you can get a PO Box so that we can send you stuff! That would be awesome! We could send supplies and in return, we get tutorials! That's a win win situation! lol

There is a much easier way to make a tassel. This takes more time and gives beginner a wrong impression that one has to use this gadget. There are many you tubes videos on how to make tassels

I use a Magic Stretch elastic.
