Yes, absolutely. This game has great potential and with more quality updates It can become one of the top BF games. People need to respect the quality fixes that have been made to bring it up to scratch and the concerted effort to correct the initial errors.
It’s rings true when you see the concept art for the release maps. They were clearly meant to be a lot more fleshed out and detailed but they were rushed. It’s clear that what happened is EA shit their pants because MW2 was releasing this year. So they pushed for holidays 21 release regardless of end product. They would have been better of sticking to their F2P battle royale plans.
This map is good. Easily the best they've made for 2042. But given their track record so far, it feels like they're not going to be able to pump out enough of these frequently enough to keep players coming back.
I disagree. When they get the taste of money from the Battle Pass (as people are already buying tokens), they’re gonna be working much harder. Trust me on that.

I really do wish we got more of this content, this proves that they’re capable of making really fun Maps and prove 128 players is possible to make work! It makes me wonder if the revamped maps they’re going to come out with will be be able to be half as good as Exposure is. I don’t know if 2042 will get the chance to have much more content brought to it, but I really really really hope they can stick to what they’ve learned works and apply that to the next game in the works and hopefully redeem the series further. I always have lived Battlefield and only want to see it succeed
I started playing again like a week ago after taking break from it in like january....I liked it more now since most of the bugs where gone, you have scoreboard and so on...and with this content, that is at the very minimum for a 7 months wait time, is anyway something to drag me in more. I don´t grind the game like I´ve done in previous games, but I´m just chill playing and having fun :)

Unless Dice is actively working on more then the bare minimum (which rumors and insider leaks suggest that a skeleton team is working on the game and will only meet their obligations), then no, it will not have a chance. The damage has already been done and it has been a PR nightmare.
I still think even if there was 7 maps of this quality, by now interest in the game would have slowed. It wouldn't be the disaster it has been, but it would have needed an injection by now. Also, the lack of total weapons in the game are what's holding it back as well.
It boggles my mind how long it's taking them to bring portal guns into the regular multiplayer. It's instant, easy content. Makes me think that the rumors of the 'skeleton crew' that's fulfilling the bare minimum year one obligations are real
This map is amazing, the new gun and Specialist are good, the new skins are pretty cool, but yeah, it's just so little so late. We would need this kind of content for every month for a year to make this a good game. Part of that could be achieved if DICE were to quickly port the weapons over from Portal, and quickly rework all the base 2042 maps into something more like Exposure, but they seem to be dragging their feet on even those changes, much less new content. I still enjoy 2042 but only for a couple hours a week max.
The map is pretty decent, just honestly the rock slide area i could do without. Noone really trys to capture them points when i tried playing until they were the only ones left and always get stuck at the bottom
Unbelievable the devs didn't think. "Hey our fans waited 8 months, we should give them extra content for the wait". There isn't enough content for someone to want to grind all 100 battle pass tiers.
Fights over B, C and D are probably the most fun since launch for sure, get some mad cool team pushes, Locker or Metro - esque. Shows there could be some hope for the game but no way EA will let DICE invest the time or manpower into actually producing content like that in volume. They wouldn't be EA if they did
Oh I'm having a absolute blast. This is taking me back. I literally worked the silver tongue and talked my buddy into buying a PS5 (been trying to get him on PC for long time but wants to buy boats and fourwheelers instead) and he's about to get on to squad up for first time in the next half hour. HYPED.
I am addicted to the gameplay on Exposure, which has never been true for any of the launch maps. Battlefield has traditionally been a computer-killing bleeding edge franchise with all of the stops pulled to establish the state of the art in this genre. BF2042, on the other hand, was primarily guided by the notion of playerbase expansion and making the game accessible and appealing to a much wider audience. This was a HUGE mistake, and is the biggest hurdle for the development, marketing, and legal teams to overcome. BF2042 is left with an engine configuration that does not fully leverage modern hardware, in deference to the legal obligation of maintaining compatibility with millions of paid underpowered clients. I expect the next title to have much stricter client requirements. I believe CoD is moving in the same direction.
This map is a lot of fun but the lack of new guns/equipment is disappointing. Dice could have at least given us a new sidearm or grenade/throwing knife. The battle pass has some nice cosmetic stuff but definitely not enough weapons still!
Ok, now I might give it a try. Definitely wish they had release this quality of maps on the beginning. Never paying full price though if its going to take this long to get things fixed.
Just redownloaded it Actually had fun. And all the updates have helped Only thing I found was running still has a lil stutter. (It's very small for me) but other then that. It was great. Bullets actually register
I hate to be a cynic, and I truly hope I'm wrong, but I think the damage is done on 2042 and it will never recoup the kind of playerbase it will need to justify content beyond the four initial seasons that were promised. The only thing I can think of that will maybe save it is if they somehow are able to increase their release cadence significantly. 3 months from now we'll get one new map, one reworked map, another new specialist, and one or two weapons. It's just not going to fly. Oh and I guess they'd give a jolt of life to the game if they did something about the specialist system and redesigned it to emphasize team play instead of solo play.
Yeah that’s pretty frustrating, it was because of too much people complaining about vehicles. If you don’t want to get killed by a jet or a helicopter pack a stinger with you next time you deploy.
All I wanted from BF2042 was to be a continuation of BF4 ( near future setting) with improvements upon all the additions and refinements of BFV, not backtrack on them. Maybe even bring back the awesome commander mode and from BF2/2142.
Specialists killed it for me right from the beginning. I played a lot of call of duty and missed out on battlefield for a long time. When I really started playing battlefield I loved the class system, the balancing, the fresh experience. If I want to play call of duty I go play call of duty. It’s sad how they canceled one of the things that made battlefield different and not too Arcadian. I was hyped for 2042 but boy was I disappointed I don’t even want to imagine how die hard fans of the series felt like.
I like the map too, but I'm pretty convinced it isn't possible to fix all the old ones. But what I really like about this update is that everything somehow feels snappier. The gameplay/movement overall just feels better.
RTX 3070 GPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 32GB RAM The game still goes down to less than 60 fps in high populated areas of the new map. And that's with all settings lowered as far as they can go.
If they released a few more of these maps per quarter and added guns, plus fixed other issues and ditched the massive 128 player maps, it could possibly come back but they have a lot of work to do.
Jun 21, 2022 Theirs a lot of (A.I.) computers. So much waiting time (TIME IT, UNTIL YOU GET IN MATCH) No one is playing this game since it came out cause I just checked it out
Map's great.. feels like a battlefield map, fits the "narrative" from the original trailer, still not liking any of the specialist system.. but as long as you have a squad, you can mix and match "roles" within, and we all know that BF is a squad game.. 4 people can do some damage if they work together in capping flags. The most fun ive had in BF is still probably BC2 and BF3 (damavand peak on rush specifically) but hopefully with this as a baseline, and a majority (not all) of the bugs fixed, they can focus on the content side. I'd still like to see a regular soldier style of operator, like MW 2019 had with the milsim/default characters that you could get skins for. the AI skins look too cool in 2042.. I'd personally love to see more battleworn skins/unlocks, seeing as the gear and vehicles shouldnt be flashy and new looking, since the narrative is we're fighting for resources. youre not going to have gold plated paint.
This new maps is great, sadly it only highlights even more on how bad the other maps are and it makes me sad when i have to play those, since there is no 24/7 breakthrough playlist of the new map
If only EA were as competent as this before they launched 2042. The massive flop caused so much backlash and ruined the franchise altogether. Now, they're playing a game of massive catch-up to earn back the trust of the already shattered community by drip-feeding ACTUAL good content.
I’ve been saying it for the last month. This game definitely has a chance! But has been kind of rough over the past couple of days. But have had a lot of fun over the past month. Right before update. Right after update. Feels like the ttk is off. Especially when getting shot vs when you shoot. Still a fan though man. Not giving up on battlefield yet. It's stupid, when guns that normally have 10 / 20 / 30 round mags makes the Ammo counter (down right) show 11 / 21 / 31 when reloading with more than 1 bullet left in mag. This issue is often known in games like Roblox or cheap budgets, and I belive that it shouldn't happen in a 59.99$ game.
@Stodeh - THe thing here is, they reused assets from basegame, buildings/radar towers that are super visible on new map, and new content is almost non existent(we all agree on this).If we take all those facts in math and from other side you have 100 tiers of rewards(skins?), its not even clear what they trying to accomplish here, with kinda lazy approach since 7-8months passed from game release.Except maybe getting back player base.. But if you trying to get player base back with skins.. oh well... Lets see for how long.Maybe 2-3weeks.This is so sad, in so many ways :/
this map is the most fun i've had with this game and it shows me that dice are definitely still capable of producing banger content. I just wish there was so much more, and the saddest part is that this game will most likely only receive bare minimum content and will then be dropped like bfv
I mean the 7 launch maps were clearly not finished when compared to this. By this point I'm 100% sure they changed 2042's direction suddenly during development, so everything was essentially made in half the time they normally would've had. Still can't believe they didn't delay the game by a year...
This map looks just great, it looks like they've really improved the netcode, and the character movements/gunplay all look just great. I really want to play, but I swore months before launch that I wasn't going to buy any Battlefield with routine bots. I'm on the fence. I may have to call an ~ 8 month truce.
Tbh, for me ( I'm on console with Controller) there was to much void and not enough combact and the aiming was off in the beta and that is why I did not pick up. Have these issues been addressed? If they have not been I'm not paying to get destroy by K&M players been there with Warzone for the last 2 years I'm not going back.
I haven't played in at least 3 or 4 months and I tried it again last night. I played breakthrough on the new map 3 times out of the 3 games I played and I had fun. I was sad by the state of the game before but if they can keep dropping maps like this and add more content than just two weapons and a map (not including vehicles and the operator) then hopefully they can revive this game
if the reworks on the old maps are good and this comes to game pass, we'll be golden. I can't convince friends to squad up with for the full price, but I can get them on game pass.
Sometimes I feel like the Call of Duty/Streamer crowd doesn't really know how to play as a squad in Battlefield. Because my buddies and I have been getting a laugh out of this game since the first month. We don't like the specialist but we figured out how to use them like classes and we have a ball playing together and working as a team. Buzzing around tanks and killing helicopters from a unified front is still a laugh riot like Battlefield has always been. I'm glad some of you are finally coming around, my feeling is the battlefield universe will be a force to reckon with in the future.
I’m just pissed at the fact that they added 2 new vehicles but nobody can use them bc there is only one in each game and non in some breakthrough. Balance the vehicles and bring them back. Also need the 50mm on transports, they’re getting out of hand
I sometimes wish I bought this along with BFV. I loved BF1 so much but never had the friends to play with so I never got anymore after it. I played BFBC2 so much because it was my first bf game. I bought 3&4 but never played it because all my friends were on CoD. I feel like I missed out on so much.
Why didn't you just go on Facebook and find a group to play with. You don't need friends to play BF with and that's the beauty. One of my good friends I met on battlefield and we became friends on Facebook, so you never know who you are going to meet in the game.
I feel like if they ported portal weapons to the main game with only a few changes to the models to make them fit the time period along with changing the attachments that would have me hooked Could literally do the same thing with the maps
I re-installed BF2042 on June 8th (I stopped playing in March) fully prepared for playing Season 1 the following day. I went right back to not playing it after discovering that despite owning the Gold Edition, I have to fully re-purchase it to have access to the Year 1 Pass. And I checked my Xbox billing to prove that I had bought it, so I gave up completely. EA needs to pull the plug. Absolutely disappointed.
This is how bf2042 should of been released we need more , I paid 90 pounds for this game so I am very disappointed with what i got for my money i can under stand the bf community been disappointed we have had to wait 7 months for one good map 2 new guns and 2 or 3 new vehicles , next time they release a new bf title i think ill give it a year before I buy it
I think if this season pass come last year or launched with it would of been a completely different story even without the new map because it gets players engaged and also players have started dropping ammo and rez more feels like bf4 again hopefully they keep it up just wished it was dropped sooner but other than that nothing negative
I'm getting a capped 95 fps at 1440p DLSS Quality on high settings. with a 3060ti and i5-12600k. The game is very demanding on the CPU, so maybe that's you bottleneck?
@@KungFuIsland It's not a cpu problem, I have a 2070 super with a 5800x and 32gb of ram, and I still sit at 80 to 90 fps on low settings 1440p, the game has absolutely zero optimization.
Way too easy IMO. The only one I had trouble with at all was the kills and assists with helis. It was pretty much impossible to get a hold of an attack helicopter since there’s only 1 per team but I realized that the super hind counted as a helicopter and just got some kills with the turrets on it.
If they would’ve given us ATLEAST two more maps along with this one it would’ve made majority of the hardcore fans including me to come back. One map is just a slap on the face. We’ve waited MONTHS for new content and this is all they could repay us. Its pathetic.
Lol one 2042 map is like 3 maps from bf4 cry some more.. EA released the game when it was unfinished give dice some time to recover with 4 seasons.. they spent the last 6 months fixing the whole game bug fixing patching, changing animations adding them, better sound quality and sound effects, better destruction re designed hud, added options for hud, etc plus working on season content and redoing old maps etc etc etc now season one begins and we have minimum 4 seasons so give them time..

The ONLY way this game survives is if they can build a loyal player base before MW2 releases in October. If they can’t, they’ll lose everyone who wants a complete game.
I think the bounce back in players will be temporary, but it proves that this game has the opportunity to make a comeback and that people are interested in seeing if it improves. It’s just a shame based on rumours that this game is set to release this level of content at a very slow pace, EA and DICE have a great opportunity to make a comeback but there doesn’t seem to be much of a will. Hopefully they see the rise in players and dedicate more people to fixing and improving the game.

I with that 11-bullet magazine, I can never do more than 2o3 kills with a magazine ... I don't appreciate it very much because in this map, especially in point C, I always find more than 4 players, that's why I don't really appreciate that loader, but the weapon is fantastic ... I too am rediscovering the right feeling like you ... but we need more content and a rework of some maps based on the amount of players inside. don't you also find that there is this "problem"?
I know it wont happen but still the damaging thing that this game has is specialist. I would rather have generic soliders with face masks ect with selected classes. I also believe next battlefield will have the same thing with specialist ect so they can sell skins, battlepasses, etc.
If with the launch of Zero Hour they had the entire game on sale it would've been an even better launch. Also I think the discount of the game wouldn't have been a bad business move 'cause no way in hell are people buying this game even with its additions at full price

Anybody else getting frame spikes and low fps despite solid hardware? I have a 3070m and 11th gen 7 series Intel cpu and even on 1080p I rarely get 60 fps...
Can please someone talk about crossplay. For me this is a big issue. I am on Xbox and every round is a big sweatfest because of the mouse and keyboard players. It's not fun. Most of the time, I have no chance. I am not against crossplay. It should be input based, or just Xbox with Playstation. I just want to have fun and not take part in the Battlefield Championship.

I'm really enjoying the map! It has a ton of variety and lots of cool areas to battle in! Five stars!

Adding Levelution on the rock slide would be mint. TV missle could use some more explosive damage and a self-destruct mode.
you can use T menu to change ammo type when you run out of a specific ammo, full restock.
Air Attack being 1 per side needs to change, at least separate Heli's from Jets.

When I really started playing battlefield I loved the class system, the balancing, the fresh experience. If I want to play call of duty I go play call of duty. It’s sad how they canceled one of the things that made battlefield different and not too Arcadian. I was hyped for 2042 but boy was I disappointed I don’t even want to imagine how die hard fans of the series felt like.
I like the map too, but I'm pretty convinced it isn't possible to fix all the old ones. But what I really like about this update is that everything somehow feels snappier. The gameplay/movement overall just feels better.

The game still goes down to less than 60 fps in high populated areas of the new map. And that's with all settings lowered as far as they can go.
If this game makes a comeback it will be the greatest achievement ever

New map helped a lot, i had stopped playing for a bit and played WZ. Gonna be on BF again for a bit. Nice change of pace.
If they released a few more of these maps per quarter and added guns, plus fixed other issues and ditched the massive 128 player maps, it could possibly come back but they have a lot of work to do.

Map's great.. feels like a battlefield map, fits the "narrative" from the original trailer, still not liking any of the specialist system.. but as long as you have a squad, you can mix and match "roles" within, and we all know that BF is a squad game.. 4 people can do some damage if they work together in capping flags.
The most fun ive had in BF is still probably BC2 and BF3 (damavand peak on rush specifically) but hopefully with this as a baseline, and a majority (not all) of the bugs fixed, they can focus on the content side. I'd still like to see a regular soldier style of operator, like MW 2019 had with the milsim/default characters that you could get skins for. the AI skins look too cool in 2042..
I'd personally love to see more battleworn skins/unlocks, seeing as the gear and vehicles shouldnt be flashy and new looking, since the narrative is we're fighting for resources. youre not going to have gold plated paint.
This new maps is great, sadly it only highlights even more on how bad the other maps are and it makes me sad when i have to play those, since there is no 24/7 breakthrough playlist of the new map

If only EA were as competent as this before they launched 2042. The massive flop caused so much backlash and ruined the franchise altogether. Now, they're playing a game of massive catch-up to earn back the trust of the already shattered community by drip-feeding ACTUAL good content.
I’ve been saying it for the last month. This game definitely has a chance! But has been kind of rough over the past couple of days. But have had a lot of fun over the past month. Right before update. Right after update. Feels like the ttk is off. Especially when getting shot vs when you shoot. Still a fan though man. Not giving up on battlefield yet. I think they add more fan favorite maps like Metro to Portal it would bring a good amount of players back. I hope they keep updating it.
It's stupid, when guns that normally have 10 / 20 / 30 round mags makes the Ammo counter (down right) show 11 / 21 / 31 when reloading with more than 1 bullet left in mag. This issue is often known in games like Roblox or cheap budgets, and I belive that it shouldn't happen in a 59.99$ game.
It’s 31 because you have 1 bullet in the chamber of the gun. 30 round mag + 1 in the chamber.
@Stodeh - THe thing here is, they reused assets from basegame, buildings/radar towers that are super visible on new map, and new content is almost non existent(we all agree on this).If we take all those facts in math and from other side you have 100 tiers of rewards(skins?), its not even clear what they trying to accomplish here, with kinda lazy approach since 7-8months passed from game release.Except maybe getting back player base.. But if you trying to get player base back with skins.. oh well... Lets see for how long.Maybe 2-3weeks.This is so sad, in so many ways :/
this map is the most fun i've had with this game and it shows me that dice are definitely still capable of producing banger content. I just wish there was so much more, and the saddest part is that this game will most likely only receive bare minimum content and will then be dropped like bfv
Re-downloaded after 5-6 months and yeah this is pretty good but it needs A LOT more of this.
I havent gotten to play the new map yet :( the queue times are like an hour long before just kicking the 3 ppl in queue back to lobby. wtf
If they bring out more maps like this and a bunch of new guns! Along with more game modes like rush it'll be in a good place to bring players back!
I mean the 7 launch maps were clearly not finished when compared to this. By this point I'm 100% sure they changed 2042's direction suddenly during development, so everything was essentially made in half the time they normally would've had. Still can't believe they didn't delay the game by a year...
This map looks just great, it looks like they've really improved the netcode, and the character movements/gunplay all look just great. I really want to play, but I swore months before launch that I wasn't going to buy any Battlefield with routine bots. I'm on the fence. I may have to call an ~ 8 month truce.
The wingsuit and wingsuit specialist are just so stupid though. It's really causing teetering.

Tbh, for me ( I'm on console with Controller) there was to much void and not enough combact and the aiming was off in the beta and that is why I did not pick up.
Have these issues been addressed? If they have not been I'm not paying to get destroy by K&M players been there with Warzone for the last 2 years I'm not going back.
I haven't played in at least 3 or 4 months and I tried it again last night. I played breakthrough on the new map 3 times out of the 3 games I played and I had fun. I was sad by the state of the game before but if they can keep dropping maps like this and add more content than just two weapons and a map (not including vehicles and the operator) then hopefully they can revive this game

Sometimes I feel like the Call of Duty/Streamer crowd doesn't really know how to play as a squad in Battlefield. Because my buddies and I have been getting a laugh out of this game since the first month. We don't like the specialist but we figured out how to use them like classes and we have a ball playing together and working as a team. Buzzing around tanks and killing helicopters from a unified front is still a laugh riot like Battlefield has always been. I'm glad some of you are finally coming around, my feeling is the battlefield universe will be a force to reckon with in the future.
I think it would be cool if you did a video where you pick up the loadout of the people you kill. Kind of like a custom Gun Game!

I’m just pissed at the fact that they added 2 new vehicles but nobody can use them bc there is only one in each game and non in some breakthrough. Balance the vehicles and bring them back. Also need the 50mm on transports, they’re getting out of hand

I sometimes wish I bought this along with BFV. I loved BF1 so much but never had the friends to play with so I never got anymore after it. I played BFBC2 so much because it was my first bf game. I bought 3&4 but never played it because all my friends were on CoD. I feel like I missed out on so much.
Why didn't you just go on Facebook and find a group to play with. You don't need friends to play BF with and that's the beauty. One of my good friends I met on battlefield and we became friends on Facebook, so you never know who you are going to meet in the game.
I feel like if they ported portal weapons to the main game with only a few changes to the models to make them fit the time period along with changing the attachments that would have me hooked

I re-installed BF2042 on June 8th (I stopped playing in March) fully prepared for playing Season 1 the following day. I went right back to not playing it after discovering that despite owning the Gold Edition, I have to fully re-purchase it to have access to the Year 1 Pass. And I checked my Xbox billing to prove that I had bought it, so I gave up completely. EA needs to pull the plug. Absolutely disappointed.
Contact xbox support and tell them you want your money back for not having access to the stuff you bought they are legally obliged to refund.

This is how bf2042 should of been released we need more , I paid 90 pounds for this game so I am very disappointed with what i got for my money i can under stand the bf community been disappointed we have had to wait 7 months for one good map 2 new guns and 2 or 3 new vehicles , next time they release a new bf title i think ill give it a year before I buy it
I think if this season pass come last year or launched with it would of been a completely different story even without the new map because it gets players engaged and also players have started dropping ammo and rez more feels like bf4 again hopefully they keep it up just wished it was dropped sooner but other than that nothing negative

I'm getting a capped 95 fps at 1440p DLSS Quality on high settings. with a 3060ti and i5-12600k. The game is very demanding on the CPU, so maybe that's you bottleneck?
@@KungFuIsland It's not a cpu problem, I have a 2070 super with a 5800x and 32gb of ram, and I still sit at 80 to 90 fps on low settings 1440p, the game has absolutely zero optimization.
I got 60fps and happy!! Hahaha That's price to pay on pc..

Way too easy IMO. The only one I had trouble with at all was the kills and assists with helis. It was pretty much impossible to get a hold of an attack helicopter since there’s only 1 per team but I realized that the super hind counted as a helicopter and just got some kills with the turrets on it.
If they would’ve given us ATLEAST two more maps along with this one it would’ve made majority of the hardcore fans including me to come back. One map is just a slap on the face. We’ve waited MONTHS for new content and this is all they could repay us. Its pathetic.
Lol one 2042 map is like 3 maps from bf4 cry some more.. EA released the game when it was unfinished give dice some time to recover with 4 seasons.. they spent the last 6 months fixing the whole game bug fixing patching, changing animations adding them, better sound quality and sound effects, better destruction re designed hud, added options for hud, etc plus working on season content and redoing old maps etc etc etc now season one begins and we have minimum 4 seasons so give them time..

"Give them time", right after going over how they just spent the past 8-9 months fixing a game that should've never been released at the time that it was. You're a part of the problem and are contributing to EA fucking everyone on whatever shitfest they release in the future. 1 map and a underwhelming battle pass is pitiful this far in the games life cycle.
The ONLY way this game survives is if they can build a loyal player base before MW2 releases in October. If they can’t, they’ll lose everyone who wants a complete game.
I think the bounce back in players will be temporary, but it proves that this game has the opportunity to make a comeback and that people are interested in seeing if it improves. It’s just a shame based on rumours that this game is set to release this level of content at a very slow pace, EA and DICE have a great opportunity to make a comeback but there doesn’t seem to be much of a will. Hopefully they see the rise in players and dedicate more people to fixing and improving the game.

@@dorsets9295 yeah, but there were rumours that the staff has been reduced to a skeleton crew. Hopefully they realise that it’s a net positive when they put this much effort into new content and ramp up efforts to create new content.

I with that 11-bullet magazine, I can never do more than 2o3 kills with a magazine ... I don't appreciate it very much because in this map, especially in point C, I always find more than 4 players, that's why I don't really appreciate that loader, but the weapon is fantastic ... I too am rediscovering the right feeling like you ... but we need more content and a rework of some maps based on the amount of players inside. don't you also find that there is this "problem"?

I know it wont happen but still the damaging thing that this game has is specialist. I would rather have generic soliders with face masks ect with selected classes. I also believe next battlefield will have the same thing with specialist ect so they can sell skins, battlepasses, etc.
If with the launch of Zero Hour they had the entire game on sale it would've been an even better launch. Also I think the discount of the game wouldn't have been a bad business move 'cause no way in hell are people buying this game even with its additions at full price
A very big chance it won’t make it, as much as people may hate on call of duty, mw2 is very likely to overshadow bf2042, but we will have to wait and see

Anybody else getting frame spikes and low fps despite solid hardware? I have a 3070m and 11th gen 7 series Intel cpu and even on 1080p I rarely get 60 fps...
really like the map so far, other than annoying auto shotgun spammers at the D1 area the map is generally enjoyable to play

Can please someone talk about crossplay. For me this is a big issue. I am on Xbox and every round is a big sweatfest because of the mouse and keyboard players. It's not fun. Most of the time, I have no chance. I am not against crossplay. It should be input based, or just Xbox with Playstation. I just want to have fun and not take part in the Battlefield Championship.
