The first time it was uncertain if he looked back at Buffy or Cyrus. But the second time only Cyrus was there, so that basically confirms he like Cyrus!😄 (at least in my opinion)

TJ looked back at Cyrus at the finale of season 2, which the cast and crew themselves confirmed. In fact, I used that scene in 3:15, if you care to look again, and he does it again in the most recent episode of season 3, which is shown in 3:28.
