Hi Jan-Willem, with timeline are you refering to the visual of Project for the web? In that case the answer (sadly) is no. Currently the timeline zoom and change abilities are limited. That said, on my blog I have a series of articles discussing feature requests. This is a feature described in detail there already
thanks for this; I wonder if you can help out. I can do the save view as you taught, but after I save it, if I change the scale, then it disappears, how do I keep it "intact"? Thanks in advance
@@TheProjectCorner yes i do. What i mean is that if I set it as I want. Then save, it is fine. BUT if I zoom out for example, then it is like the view is saved again and again... so when I pick this view in the view menu it is the last change that come up.
Hi Guyb, it is one of my older video's. But could it be your connection? I watched it agsin on mobile snd the text is readable. Thanks for the comment, newer videos are in 4k resolution.
My fix for the timescale changing with zoom was to create a macro that just reset it back to calendar weeks. Thank you for the helpful explanation!
Thank you for making sense out of the Top, Middle, and Bottom tiers--great examples!
Thanks Kevin, good to hear you liked the video. Hope you stick around for more content
excellent demonstration, thanks
Glad you like it Wael EL, more to come for sure
Can you also change the timescale in timeline like you did in ganttchart?

@@TheProjectCorner No not in project for the web, in regular old school Mic Project. Version 2018
The timeline doesnt have a similar time scale but mimics the Gantt view.

Hi Emma, I haven't heard this situation before. Did you give the view a dedicated name and can you find it again from the views menu?

Ah yes, zooming in and out on these views is a no go. That will change your timescale. There is no way that I know of ro lock that
@@TheProjectCorner oh ok, I recalled it was possible before, but maybe I am mistaken. Thanks a lot for helping me
Thak you 100 times
