A time-lapse video of the Golden Age installation, on which you can see what everything is made of and how we created the installation, because I often get questions about how we collected the things in the backyard of the locals, where you can also see the tent in which I slept at their place for three nights, how people bring me things, what they looked at differently, how many assistants and guards I had and how many goats and also what kind of workshop equipment I had to buy in the city, on the other side of the island, otherwise I wouldn’t have done anything in that wasteland, it’s not even there electricity.

I shoot time-lapse videos as one of the basic formats of documentation. Compared to the earlier videos, the Yemeni ones are now supplemented with videos from Ray Ban video glasses, with which I can shoot up close what I’m doing and have both hands free. It doesn’t have 4K quality or the same color and brightness as iPhone videos, but it’s a recording from a different point of view. Since almost all of those projects leave nothing but documentary footage, this expansion together with the drone is quite valuable to me.

I also had a problem with the cordless drill that I had borrowed from the city, and even though I begged in advance to charge both batteries, one was barely half charged.
The second problem was the screws. I bought a whole box before I found out on the spot that they are made of something even softer than aluminum, so when I tried to screw something on, it turned to mush after the first few turns. I don’t understand how you sell such things here. The drills I bought only moved when drilling when I put pressure on them.
