Love the CHIT SHOW! I found you on accident when researching stuff about pontoon mishaps. We had a close call Saturday on our refurbished pontoon because we had 2 people too many on it. It was starting to tip. Thankfully an awesome DNR came along side and git 3 of our people into his boat and he towed our boat back to dock. Said he was not supposed to tow anyone but we were in a very dangerous situation about to sink. That being said , I swore I would never ever get on another boat. But after watching your show and seeing what other people experience , I’m going to give it another try. Life is short. I am going to be out again but with only two people and not 7 on the small pontoon boat. Thank you and your show for giving me a new outlook and courage to try again.
OK, Alfred. You hooked me. Consider me reeled in and in the net. "Credit Card Captain" gets the blame for sending me down the "boat ramp" rabbit hole, but you are solely to blame for my newest addiction. Tyler you had the same thought as me. If you have money to buy those gigantic boats you should put some aside to rent dock space at a marina. I don’t see the logic in dragging these gigantic boats to a public ramp to launch it too spend a few hours on the water. Where do they park it when it’s not being used?

Alfred.. at 7:20 the flat boat. What is that long rod?. I have seen others like it too, or with them.. Sorry for the question but I am not familiar with that item.
The people who made the dock used 8 inches of poured concrete and explains the absence of cleats. So instead, they use several cut-off Telephone Poles !
@@jeffrandolf5673 Sir, the cleats on any boat are on the top of the hull, you never tie off to any structural section of the boat. You can use a cleat on the boat twice, you start from a cleat, wrap the Dock line around a piling and back down to the same cleat. Have a nice Day.
@@keithscudder7136 Gee thanks Keith! I guess you MISSED MY POINT? I was rigging & commissioning new power & sail boats & delivering them to owners & boat shows from 1978-1998. Were you born yet?
I been watching these vids for a while now. What is with the complete lack of boat fenders? There’s barely any to seen! Haha. Even if they can dock well, why wouldn’t you throw out some fenders? You’re still gonna rub up against that dock.
The Docks are poorly designed and fenders won't help much. The height of the fenders would have to changed every thirty minutes. Instead of being smooth Docks, they are quite the opposite with several pilings sticking out.
John your spreading misinformatiom .You should do some more research before your attempt to spread non facts. The American Crocodile is native to the South Florida area
ALFRED,,,, HELLO, so it’s raining again A FLASK CAME ON MY PHONE saying CUTLER RIDGE & HOLMSTEAD , they will be pumping 7/24 to get the level down, you got 16”, how was your home, as your walking trip yesterday saw some homes with water, stay well, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Please, Alfred, Inform your viewers in a slide in the video or somehow else: 1. Get bumpers on and lines ready before arriving at the dock. 2. Stern line or a line from midship just as important as the bow line. 3. Once touching dock, try to control boat with stern line as well as bow line. Yes, I know your videos get viewers bc of awful docking, but it's embarrassing, painful to the captain's psyche, and sometimes costly to ram dock or another boat. And maybe even deadly bc of Fred.
The last boat at the end of the video ..... WTF is up with the dude in the black cap? Get off the damn phone, separate from your GF and help the Captain dock the boat!!!

Rinker: The BIG fenders are safely stowed on the port aft side of the boat. I’m impressed they DO have dock lines.
Not to mention the smaller fenders are securely hung on the starboard side as not to get in the way while docking...

Its a push pole to push boat while off when in really shallow water

Alfred better watch out.
At the black point, marina slip #1 is very seldom used to retrieve the boats out of the water. Why is that?
10 is by the filet table 1 is by Chit Show Live
I do notice that people with expensive boats, like cigarettes, use that location.

there must be a mandatory training or at least a seminar on boat handling specially launching and docking maneuvers.
Other states require new boat owners to take a safety test.
I forgot to add, in Florida there is no training and no license required for recreational boaters. :(

Why do the boats smoke
2 stroke engines = oil in the combustion chamber. I have a feeling most of these 2 strokers don't take the time to measure their mixtures correctly.
@-stroke most likely.
