The 2nd machine had some serious spin fluctuations. After your initial hit, watch the wheels closely- they're not in sync, especially wheel #3. When this began to mess up, it did the same to your luck. 3/4's of the way through? It stopped, you hit some small line hits, and then the 2k.
At the very end? It began to mess up again, but hit your jackpot as it did so- I'll bet it was about to go on a really LONG "no-hit" streak after that one. Good thing you got almost back to even before it did!
ps- NOT a fan of that, "platinum spins" feature. Only 3 free spins, and only one hit, twice- giving 6 spins, and still it didn't do much, considering $90.00 a spin, imo.
