No, you hear wrong, the bell is ringing the same before the gate get in to negative position then it get quaiter

Is this crossing model used in other ex-Yugoslav states? Or just in Croatia?

Hi. We have the same crossing gates and signals in Slovenia, but the red and white stripes on the gates are vertical and not at 45 degree angle. There are also 2 lights on the gates in Slovenia and some crossings here have 4 gates to prevent driving around gates. I have a video of scale model Slovenian railway crossing on my chanel. They have similar crossings in Serbia and other ex-Yugoslav states too.

Yes they do some parts in Bosnia and Herzegovina have this design but it is Yugoslavian style😅

Around 2-4 minutes. It depends of train speed.

In Croatia is 1521 railway crossings.
563 are secured with light signals and barriers or sound and light signals (without barriers).

Yes! More or less, crossings from former Yugoslavia are same.

I've been to Czech Republic and those crossings are not similar to Croatian. They have American style crossing gates and unique square shaped crossing signal with two red and one white light.

Very similar, I also noticed that :) ! These signals were standard in ex. Jugoslavia. I think these were made in Ljubljana.
