Played both codes. Union to county level and league to regional. I can confirm , league requires a far higher level of fitness and tenacity. To put it frankly, league hurts , a lot.
@@DavidAJones11 Why was the match abandoned? Usually there would be a substitution and the injured player taken off to receive treatment to hospital if needed.
@@PreservationEnthusiast I would guess that he was on the pitch waiting for and getting treatment for a *long* time. They're probably not going to restart a game like this an hour or so later.
Big lad at the end looks like he may have broken his leg. That would mean calling an ambulance and not moving him - could take a while for them to arrive so game usually called off.
Behave yourself you muppet. No player if either code is getting up from a tib and fib fracture. TBH most cross code players will admit League is faster and you need to be fitter to play it. Uniyawn is slower in comparison and you need to think about the game more.
Nope it's a northern England game that involves teamwork , passion , fitness, skill and being bloody tough . These guys are amateurs and do it for the love of it . A bit more constructive time than getting stoned . Just my opinion , thanks .
Hope the lad was OK, I was really enjoying that

They are the highest cross bars in the known universe
Toll Bar no.11 was putting in reckless tackles the entire game, wasn’t surprised when he was involved in injuring the big lad tbh.
Maybe, but I don't think he did much wrong in that particular tackle, the lad just falls awkwardly

Spot on pal
The lad suffered a badly broken leg.
Proper decent game that! Big respect to both sides
Leg just buckle under him?
Biggest surprise was the bus got there
😂😂
Why does the "blue" team have two different jerseys?
Damaged shirts so old ones had to be used
Hope the guys ok
Oliver Wilkinson I believe he had to have a operation but recovering well
bloody hell
A union player would have just got up and carried on playing
as a union player, nah not really, why be like that
With a snapped leg! Give your head a wobble.
yeah mate with a broken leg 🥴
Haha - the speed union forwards go - two broken legs wouldn’t be spotted 😂

Acl? Tasty. 6 monther
What happened
Excellent question. A complete waste of fifteen minutes.
His leg snapped
Even the players started falling asleep so they called it
@@dando1898 pretty sure it was an acl not a snap

That's Snappy McGhee
What are we talking about, what dangerous takles, I never saw anything, no fighting, a big lump of this vid mising, what a wate of time.
was a very long video to show a tiny clip at the end where the guy badly hurts his leg
Watching this stoned and it’s just humans running straight into each other? 🤷🏻♂️
