Netflix has a never ending supply of dramas in foreign languages for which I am grateful. I can’t remember the last time I watched anything in English, however, I’m a big fan of subtitles.

Grief is a nightmare 😢
The mother getting the news about her daughter was what grief looks like.
A good movie dealing with real life issues = Grief and all its many layers are hard to describe.
Especially when you don’t get to say goodbye.
People grieve in different ways and we all react differently to pain and death.

Lighting looks pretty, the music's nice and I'm sure the acting is incredible but icl the plot doesn't appeal to me at all- sister dies, and the boyfriend of the (dead) sister ends up with the younger sister as she works thru her grief.

sweddish and spanish drama are really good they can act. Netiflex knows this this why sweddish and Spanish drama rate number they can actually act, the actors french people/drama are really good at acting as well, also belgium drama are really good, that the only euorpean countries with good series and actors.
Swedish acting sucks by 95%, the other 5% can act. but this is not in the 5%
italian and german also - in maxton hall the acting is really good

I love the foreign movies, but having to stare at the subtitles makes you miss the little nuances going on on the screen and the actor’s expressions.
It will also have an English dub but as someone who has watched subtitled content since I was a kid, trust me, you get used to it so fast, you don't even perceive it. And you get the full nuance of the acting, not some people speaking in a microfone in a studio.

Some of us are actually interested in people & life outside of our own countries; you should try it sometime.
Shows how limited your world is. International productions are way better than a lot of the Hollywood ones but you can't handle some subtitles. Different languages and cultures are beautiful!
