I am glad I discovered your channel this year. I have gotten many of these at your recommendation and will continue to do so. Will try and use your links when possible. Looking forward to 2025.
nicely done amazon lists, best I've ever seen! I wear those klein kneepads daily. I have to turn the bottom silocone ring outwards, otherwise I get a rash in the summer. they also do a great job of keeping my knees warm in winter, like gloves.
@@MORGANSMaintenance There are stretchy things that can go on the knees, no idea how they're called or which profession uses them, but they're a bit like those shirtless-sleeves bikers wear to protect their arms from the sun. Fits just over the knees + a bit extra. Could wear those as a barrier for your skin. Wearing them underneath the pants is a very good idea, avoids the ninja turtle look.
P.S. another simple, if not simpler, solution would be to wrap an old tshirt over them. Could cut it to size and give it a couple stitches to stay put, and wash it separately.
@@llanbull I have several Klein tools I’m glad I bought this year, but none of them made the cut. I think the Impact 11-1 was late November/December of 2023 or it would have made the cut.
If Bahco is making them could it really be considered a clone? Also, Bahco has been a subsidiary of Snap-on for almost 25 years ( and I'm pretty sure they were the same company when Snap-on started using that design).
I had a Cresent one at one time that had a passthrough socket ratchet on the other end. I have no idea what I did with it, but I remember it was a little big
My 21 year old corded circular saw finally bit the dust and I made the switch to a battery powered saw… so much better to use. Lighter, easier to maneuver and enough power for my diy weekend warrior projects.
I'm glad I got the M12 saw too. I have the 5.0 and a diablo blade on it and have been making use of some scrap OSB from when I got my roof done earlier this year. It's light and rips really well. I kinda wish it had a light on it though since I had to do a quick cut in the dark earlier today.
Thanks for sharing! I’ve loved watching the tool reviews but it’s really fun to see the tools that really stood out to you this year. I think my tool of the year would have to be my Tsunoda KBN-125 flush cut snips. They’re fantastically precise and a perfect size.
Fantastic company make some of the best zip tie flush cutters for 1/3rd of thr price of dem Germans. Form and function over price. Great seeing you over here like your videos others should give you a glance if they haven't already.
So far my favorite 2024 buy is either my Veto DP3 and my cheap Klein Cross Line Laser. DP3 makes service calls and working from a lift a literal lifesaver, amd while only $60, the Klein CLL just showed me what ive been missing all these years, and...goddamn.😂
The DP3 is a nice addition. I ended up not using mine as much because I use my vest and MP2x as kinda a combo to hold what I was putting in it. A laser level is a game changer for sure 👍
Man, I love my Bahco adjustable wrenches too. I believe you are right about them manufacturing for Snap-On. My favorite is their alligator wrench. Good video:
I like them both… I didn’t show in this video but I do in The review for them, but the bit holder also sticks to metal on the backside.. so good to throw on the side of a toolbox
I ordered mine on Amazon and just did a customized sign. The seller I got mine from doesn’t offer them anymore, but if you search name plate on Amazon there are lots of them
M12 Crown Stapler, glad I bought it and didn’t know how much I needed it until I used it 😂 Definitely gonna pick up those Klein kneepads, I want something that can be worn under pants like you use them, glad to know you’ve found it works well that way 🍻

They make a upgraded version of thoes klein kneepads that's more cushion and seem to last longer for me. Yes there more but there hardly any thicker maybe 10 bucks more.
Nice selections. I'm going to pick up a set of those knee pads, and one for my wife as well; also the Rack-A-Tiers stud ball. This is the year I discovered Veto bags, so at least one of them makes my list. Although I like them all, I grab my TP-3B most often, but I need to adjust my SB-LD loadout; it's too heavy, especially with my M12 Surge in it. I also really like the various Klein screwdrivers I bought, especially the ones with bits in the handle where it's not necessary to Lego the shaft to get what I need. For lights, I really like my Sofirn IF23 and IF24 Pro (similar lighting options), and the cheap Vicooda work lights (great for under a sink or when upgrading a computer); then for EDC the Boruit V20 is extremely versatile. I've gotten some good use from my Allosun digital multimeter, and expect that to continue. Finally, the #MorgansFault Vessel electric screwdriver (and/or the WorkPro knockoff) is a quick-grab for a lot of things.
They ain't bad lights especially for the price. Get the heavy duty knee pads sleves instead our knees arnt getting any better and they are more comfortable/durable.

@@MORGANSMaintenanceyes sir!! I want to know more about those vests!? What name brand are they and did you just have to send them a Digitized Logo file in the proper format for them to sew on the vest or did you do that extra ? FYI I ordered the Klein Mod Box Work Vest/Tool Belt combo and I thought I’d just take the 2 bigger Mod Box Pouches off and use the 6 Pocket and 8 Pocket Klein ModBox pouches I already utilize to make it more sleek and a bit lighter…. But when I got it I found out the pics did it no favors but to hide how heavy and bulky the vest is. The vest is basically shoulder straps that act as suspenders not pulling a hands pants down etc I reckon. But really I wanted it for the vest feature but it only has 4 small pockets on the front. One good thing about it is that when it’s on the weight of a tool belt and tools is being supported by a guy/gals shoulders and the tool belt is hanging high above my waist and lower back. That’s the only plus. Check it out Klein Part ID 55829MB. Check it out and let me know what you think. Also I have seen some kind of awesome looking vest brand called the Don Clavos 701 Diamondback Vest but it’s 620.00…. Do you know anything about that brand of vest? Why so expensive?
@@EyeOfTheTiger601 Matt-hmm that comments on the channel a lot has the Diamondback vest and likes it. Mine is Atlas 46. It has hook and loop spots there so I just had some patches made on Amazon. They just go on/off like Velcro. I love vest over a tool belt. I’ve been wearing different versions for years, but I have been buying mostly Atlas 46 versions. They are expensive too though, but I just use my own pouches and things. That’s where they get really pricey. I started with the Atlas 46 Saratoga, but now I use this vest for Service work, and I use the Atlas Stratos for jobsite work. I got lucky and caught it on sale for $99. I haven’t seen the Klein. I’ll have to look it up
You just need the diamondback 701 vest and use any pouches you want or like 👍. I've used a veto dp3 mazo slingshot holstery don't matter. The vest goes from 99 to 200 but 150 is a common sale price. If you get the high vis model you can dump your safety best on the jobsite a bonus itself. Check az for used ones often go for less than half of new great way to try it out or return it if you don't like it for free. Rigid or that modbox vest are monstrosities. Most vest can get hot so I suggest staying diamondback or that Atlas46. Occidental leather is a toaster oven the knockoff I showed on a guess the trades reload isn't half bad and a third of the price of Occidental leather. Way more comfortable too but not as cool as the 2 choices we have suggested. A option too if you have tool pouches on a tool belt with suspenders is to go Occidental leather beltless retrofit kit. That lets you wear tool bags no belt right off your shoulders for 60 bucks. That's only if your setupuuses light and your shoulders can take it. Vest distributes the weight on more than just shoulders. One of these days we will do a vest setup video I have at least 2 loadouts I can send in for reference 👍.
My list of tools I appreciate are alot like yours just saying. I like the milwaukee slim light more than your offerings for my own reasons. That sbld was a sleeper at first not is used nearly as much as the tech pack. Speaking of tech pack it's way better for a big bag than a mct overstuffed and pro pack xl. I forsee a backpack mct in your future 😆. 5 months no Atlas46 order just warning people fyi. That side pouch from Atlas46 I ordered was fantastic on two carabiners clipped onto my belt loops. It was the year of vests and pouches for sure looking forward to how much more design they can come up with. Thanks for the great year with great friends! Glad the dewalt 8v gyro didn't make it 😆 you never know till you try!
If i wanted to eat the 50 dollars 50% increase in price i could have had it from Amazon already. I want that Benjamin electrican bag too to give it a fair shake. Only time will tell and by spring I'll order the mb3 blackout with inserts and may make thoes items moot as a cross body bag.
Great choices I have everything except the veto bag. Son and I are general contractors/ handyman and are wondering if the festool dust extractors are a shop vac replacement? We have bout about 6 different shop vacs looking for something better either longer hose. Do you think the cleantec ct15 or ct midi would work for an everyday clean up vac for light remodeling and handyman work. Does is have the big suction?
@MM I bought the Klein knee pads, Bahco adjustable wrenches(I have the 8” and 10”), Fluke T6-1000 Pro, and Milwaukee M12 circular saw based on your recommendations. And I have the Snap-On talon grip pliers, Rack-A-Tiers stud ball, and maybe an Atlas vest on my list. If you could just have one, would you recommend 7” or 9” talon grips?
I find myself using the 9” the most just because I like the reach, kinda more the reason for the tool how I use them. I keep the 7” in my MP2X really only because they fit better.
@ I thought the same way.. I bought the 7” first because I usually use smaller pliers more than bigger, but after having them for a bit I decided to get the 9” too
@MORGANSMaintenance Yeah, I was thinking the 7” would be a better size, but I like bigger grips, and find myself using my 10” cobras or pliers wrench over my 7 1/4”s whenever I can. I also have to fish out the 7 1/4”s from my Diamondback tool belt, so 8” and above tools are better for that. 7” sounds like it will work better for my MP2X though, so I’ll probably just have to get both. 😂
Talk to your snapon truck i got the 7in and 9in for 100 if I bought them both. I really don't use the 9 in much at all the 7in really fit the need if it helps. As for the truck I just stopped by one parked repoing some stuff from a shop. I capped the wires to the compresser and made sure the power was safe. What comes around goes around just day hi where ever you see one. You never know!
@MattHmm-rq6dn the T6's should all have the "put your finger on the button". The T5's don't. But that whole rant was...a mess. 😂 Edit: removed "field sense" nonsense. Im tired...
I get it some things just remind you of something funny. The 600 has the coin the 1000 makes us clamp onto a common ground with an algator clip. I had bad luck with wild readings on the 600 that all went away with the better model. At least he makes a great snap knife! He needs more product teardowns.
@MORGANSMaintenance Yeah, I think YT auto-censors when the algorithms think you’re advertising in the comments section. I started the comment off with “glad I bought ‘em”, so that’s probably what triggered the auto-censor.
Thoes carbide scrapers are not joke we do our fair share of historical houses and they save hours of sanding. The best part us if you hit a nail it won't damage it ive even scraped concrete/motar with them no damage. The blades are 7/8s the price of the entire tool 😆
@MattHmm-rq6dn Yeah, they lived up to the hype of the reviews. I bought the 2.5”, and within minutes of using it for the first time, I ordered the 2” and 1”.

@@MrPalbunch it’s pretty much the same as my other vacuums as far as suction goes. It just does a better job and not releasing and fine dust (catches more of it). I don’t use it as my every day vacuum, really for drywall or spaces that are finished I’m working in. I use a small Ridgid one on job sites, but I also don’t typically work on huge sites. I mostly use a small one due to transporting, but I feel like the suction is better on it
Just an exxtra to this, I've seen a guy reuse the festool filters by cutting the bottom end and using binder clips to put back together. I wish I could call up that video. thought it was a good idea and since filters are always expensive, great idea.

Does the rackateer magnet loose its magnetism somehow or through time? I just got one and feel like it barely is magnetized. Not sure why
Mine hasn’t lost any… I almost wish it would lose a little 😂. Mine grabs ahold of anything that gets within 2-3 inches of it
My list of tools I appreciate are alot like yours just saying.
@@MattHmm-rq6dn you had some suggestions in the mix of these 10. I definitely had more than these 10, but you have to stop somewhere 😂
Also that Stratos is number 10 1/2, but I didn’t want to have two vest in the Top 10. I think you will like how adjustable it is… if you get it
Otherwise it's just a list of what you bought all year lol 😆
@@MrPalbunch I thought I was crazy and was like, I just answered that.. but it’s a double 😂
@MORGANSMaintenance Cool. Originally, I thought I’d get the 7”, but I’m leaning toward the 9” after seeing it in this video. 👍
I cant see a t6-1000 without hearing AvE's rant. 😂😂😂
@@KiltPatrick I’ve seen some of his videos, but I don’t guess I’ve seen that one… Will have to look it up
That was funny 😁. He's was a t6 600 i think with the finger button on the back not the same one. We have to clip ours onto a real ground 😆.
@MattHmm-rq6dn the T6's should all have the "put your finger on the button". The T5's don't.
But that whole rant was...a mess. 😂
Edit: removed "field sense" nonsense. Im tired...
I get it some things just remind you of something funny. The 600 has the coin the 1000 makes us clamp onto a common ground with an algator clip. I had bad luck with wild readings on the 600 that all went away with the better model. At least he makes a great snap knife! He needs more product teardowns.

Yeah I didn’t see it before.. this is a nice screenshot to research 👍
Great choices I have everything except the veto bag.

Does is have the big suction?
