I know also from personal experience, as 6 years ago as a purple belt I got to feel that pressure in 10 minute rounds with him at Unity.

Miayos were on the top of the game and hadnt won worlds yet as black belt, as far as I can remember. Great training room. Hope to visit someday again ✌

I learned my pressure passing from BJJ Scouts breakdown of Murillos Over Under pass about 8 years ago as a bluebelt. Took me about a month or two to not get countered or triangled by upper belts. But now this is my go to everytime somebody stuffs my other passes. I use it to pass much heavier opponents as well, Im about 65 kgs.
Just a small trivial fact. I started a few months after Murilo started training with Yamasaki back in Virginia. He was 16 at the time, he had the same voice then LOL. He actually went from white to purple belt in about 8 months. The kid was really good.

Murilo has light feet to pass guard but loved what he said about this style and saw that I was not moving at all or climbing with the over under pass. Thank´s for sharing good knowledge.
