Awesome place to pop some shrooms and trip out on the architecture and culture. Someday I'll be lucky enough to make that venture. Thanks for sharing .

Excellent video and very helpful. I do have a question regarding the drive. Is the drive to the ruins very remote? Like through the jungles? I do have road anxiety and I need to be sure of my drive and prefer taking breaks as needed but I don’t want to take breaks in the middle of nowhere either … lol. Any help and tips on this?

As someone who just got back from Belize. As in 3 days ago, the remotest site is Caracol. It's 35 km south of San Ignacio but it takes 2.5 hours to get there as you are driving on rough, dirt road. It's actually a pretty fun drive if you're into that type of driving. It's easier exiting than it is entering. Xunantunich is very easy to get to. Not hard at all. Just go my friend. Belize is a safe country. If you go into Caracol you have to sign in at a military checkpoint but the soldiers are really nice and they will escort you sometimes down to the site. It's worth it and there are so many other natural sites to visit on the way out like Rio On Pools and Thousand Foot Falls among others.

Thanks for the video! Did you have any issues bringing a drone into the country? I heard they have some pretty strict rules and am debating whether it's worth the hassle to bring one

We didn’t have any issues, check the airlines you would hate to get to the airport & drones are banned.

It starts in the morning and as I recall we finished up around 2 or 3pm. We did a combination of Xunantunich and the Crystal Cave.
