Discover how writer Dame Jacqueline Wilson, and the creative team behind the CBBC Hetty Feather series, have used historical evidence and factual gaps to bring the nineteenth-century Foundling Hospital to life.
This film was originally shown as part of the Foundling Museum's 2017 exhibition 'Picturing Hetty Feather'. This immersive exhibition transported visitors of all ages to the Foundling Hospital, encouraging them to discover their own ‘picturing’ abilities in relation to the Foundling Hospital story, and imagine what life was like for Hetty and the real-life foundling children.

lets be honest Hetty Feather was better than Tracy beaker because it has a storyline Tracy beaker has a story line as well, but it has a lot of fillers and some fillers were just boring well i don't know about you but Tracy beaker was my childhood and i will always love it, when people told me to watch hetty feather and that it was really good i always thought tracy beaker would never be beaten, but as soon as i started watching it i fell in love and every episode is part of the story and is the stepping ston for the next episode which tracy beaker didn't have because sometimes the next episode would be completely different from what happened in the previous. (btw i'm talking about the series not the books)
Btw i know this is very irrelevent but was i the only one who liked the character of Harriet (Hetty feather's best friend) more then the main character.
