Damn dude. Kanoa was insane. I like the way he slid the tail and then it just stuck in the water and ripped him back around with speed for the next hit. That float was one of the best I've seen.
@Stephen Wimer Kanoa is riding Marcio Zouvi shapes better known as Sharp Eye surfboards. Zouvi is the same shaper that Felipe Toledo rides. I don't know when Kanoa switched from Merricks. I feel as if Kanoa is surfing really fast and quick, really similar speed to what Felipe is achieving.
@surfPOV I've forgotten more about surfing than you will ever learn. I did roller coasters and floaters for 35 years in surf up to eight feet. I was just amazed how fast and down the line this new pro went. No need to patronize me for that.
Can anyone tell me just why the WSL video quality is always so bad?? its always only 720p and the screen just keeps trying to fix its resolution and the caster voice always are laggy.
WSL - Gang, please put together higher quality edits. The sound and video is choppy. I know you are capable of much better :)
