Just what I was looking for. I like the idea of the personal size, but the 16 size font is enticing.

Love the layout and 16 point font? Wow. Thanks for the review Tim.

I love these new NLT Filament bibles. I'm a CSB, LSB, and NLT fan. These new NLTs are very well done in my opinion, both translationally (easy to read yet still accurate to the original text), physical features, and now with the interactive electronic app option.

My favorite size is 14 point font, but this looks good

Thank you, Tim. I always enjoy your informative reviews. I've had an NLT Bible with the Filament App for about a month. Love the Filament app. It's great to have a compact bible with added content much like a study bible.

Awesome! Especially that it included red letter. GmaJo

I would like this bible with a full leather cover....I hate the way the soft plastic peels and flakes off so quickly.

If only I could find a super giant NKJV in 16 size font

Nice video! Love the NLT. Question, have you done an overview of how to use the filament app alongside with the bible? Thanks!

Really a nice Bible. Only problem is it says the words of Jesus are in red and Jesus never said a thing in the Bible. I would love to have one if they would do it in just black lettering

That's a strong opinion...to claim the inspired word never once wrote a single word Jesus spoke.

Glad I found your channel a couple of months ago! Another great video. That is a beautiful Bible, too bad the synthetic covers do not last more than a few years. I have 5 different Bibles with synthetic covers (including my favorite, a HCSB) that are peeling pretty bad. I do have a couple of older NKJVs that are full-grained leather that still look brand new!
I am in the market for a new Bible and was really wanting to find a CSB (or an ESV) verse by verse in goatskin or top grain leather. I would like cross references and maybe a concordance in the back. Ideally, I would prefer one that is sized like a Quintel or perhaps just a little bit smaller but not as small as a PSQ. A tad larger than a quintel would be fine but not as large as a full sized Bible. Are there any Bibles you have looked at that would be a match for that and do you have any preferences? I know your current favorite translation is CSB (and mine is too, although my hardcopy is a HCSB and my phone app is the CSB!). Thanks Tim, I appreciate the work you put into your videos 🙂

Lol, you are looking fir a very specific Bible.
There are several ESV that have two of the three requirements of cross reference, verse-by-verse, &
      Goatskin.
But you want all of the above and a specific size.
It is good to know what you want but it might be hard to find.
      Try asking Crossway.
They make the ESV and are likly to know.
Crossway has the ESV verse-by-verse in calf skin that MIGHT work?

I like verse-by verse-by-verse for study but have trouble finding a large enough print, so i feel your pain. Knowing what you want and not finding it is frustrating.

Please could you tell me the weight of the giant print NLT?

Tim, can you tell me the difference between the "old" and the "new" NASBs? I have the "old" version and I love everything about it! Just curious, because I really need to get a new one for next years' reading.

You mean the translation or the layout? If you check my channel, you'll see comparisons of both layout and the updated translation.

I think the committee did a nice job with the 2020 update. They smoothed out the English significantly, but also made sure to keep using italics in areas that have been smoothed out.

16 point, that is good. I'm wondering how easy it is to hold this bible? Many elderly people with failing sight may well be able to see this fine, but holding it may prove a problem. I'm thinking of looking at book stands to help me use a number of study bibles I have? People with really severe sight problems would even struggle with this. As a visually impaired person myself (legally blind) I'd throughly recommend a hands on review before purchase. seeing on a video like this, even with the best intentions of the filimer can be problematic as the print can appear different to what it would be to the naked eye in real life. I know I stress this a lot, but I feel it is important, and even more so in the case of this particular bible.
