Please contact local Izu council and tell them how dirty with rubbish the Odoriko walking trail is. We flew from Australia this week to walk the famous 20km Yasunari Kawabata trail but it was so disappointing. It looks like no one has cleaned the bottles, cans and rubbish for over 10 years. There were many wasabi farms in the river but the river was a rubbish dump. We love Japan and hike there every year for last 20 years😢so sad for Izu.
