Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery(VATS), the key to better patient outcomes

In case of lung cancer, Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic surgery is recommended for fast recovery and the survival rate with this procedure is five to ten years after being treated. Correct equipment and access to the latest techniques are necessary to perform these types of operations. This infrastructure is also the key to both training staff and performing these operations.
