Loved the vlog, and there is an old adage that says you learn far more when things go wrong, than when they go according to plan. Cannot wait to see if you put Cameron's final words of wisdom into practice! Well done to you and Laragh on this video xxx
He seems like a really good instructor, the right level of encouraging but then still strict! It might have been a difficult session but it seemed really beneficial for you. I think you’re quite harsh on yourself and you’re your own worst critic; I know the feeling! It’s so hard not to over analyse everything but you have to remember that Laragh is a difficult, feisty mare and you handle her brilliantly. You need to give yourself more credit. X
Love this vlog! So great to see that it doesn't always go to plan and how to work through that. Especially not aiming for a clear round but "I rode every stride the best I could". Thanks for sharing!
Had to stop at 12 min something because the horse went so much faster than any I rode. Made me so nervous LOL. Well my ponies were low class but a lot of hard work put into them like your lovely horse. What a nice facility. I'm so old, no safety vests in my day & most people didn't wear a helmet with strap. Good thing some things have changed but I'll never regret all I learned at the barn. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Will definitely check out digital horse, looks like a great way to keep track of everything for my horse! Such a lovely video as always excited to see the next one. Also love that you try to look on the positive rather than the negative when it's not been the best day "on paper" 😁
Hey! Well done Lucy! Laragh is so fit and so keen isn’t she?! I thought it was so interesting that Cameron advised you to just ride your best for the jumping rather than focus on a clear “because otherwise you’ll freeze,”. I’ve been wondering if that’s partly what happens to you because Laragh IS so fast and will take over sometimes and I know that, for me, if anything comes at me too fast my mind just goes blank. If that is what happens, fortunately you have a wonderful seat and you stay with her! I’m really enjoying this camp and all your different perspectives 🤗. Digital Horse sounds pretty cool but I’m in the US so might not be able to access it. I’m looking forward to the jumping plus whatever extraneous shenanigans you all want to share 😁
Oh my goodness Lucy that was so tiring keep your bum plugged 😂😂these vlogs are so much fun you lucky girls. I’m sure you’ll all sleep well after all that training it’s great fun to watch you all well done.👏👏👏👏👏👏tfs😎
Amazing riding Lucy, from your GoPro footage you can really see how strong and powerful she is. I would be 💩 myself if I was on board beautiful Laragh, greatful for my fat cob lol!
Just got to the refusal part of the video but you are still doing such an amazing job. It must have been so much pressure for you to ride for the cameras and everyone watching x
Really enjoyed this, so lovely to watch! You’re way too hard on yourself though, you rode brilliantly in the xc and should be so proud! Loved seeing the snippets of your teaching as well and can’t wait for the series to come out xxx
I really enjoyed this vlog and could really resonate with the XC schooling - so much of what Cameron was saying could have been my instructor's voice when we go schooling! My boy is a keen bean out in a field and sometimes he mistakes my enthusiasm for a green light to GO! Thank you for sharing - it's all about the learning......and remember to plug your bottom in!
Looking good everything is a lesson think of it that way and I think you four should make this a annual thing if all four of your calendars allow not necessarily for t.v but just the schooling camp part because you four are learning your horses get used to stay aways and you get good vlog footage or new one if your calendar’s allow how about a you four and your horses go on holiday like a beach holiday or the new forest or something similar would be fun new sights and sounds etc and has any of you thought that through the non event season or even the time between event to do Sponsored rides or rides for charity or fun rides etc just thinking it would be fun
Just watched the H&C version of this! Simon Grieve has to be the nicest guy on earth! Cameron rocks too - but Simon with you Lucy - aw! 🥰😇🤩
I loved it Lucy, you are only human and I think most of us have had days like that. We love seeing you in all highs and lows
Thanks so much 🥰

This! Exactly this!
How positive and lovely is the instructor 🥰
The determination in the “I will not” is the best 😂

Yes definitely do it’s fab! Thanks so much for watching again 🥰
We would love to see you on board Digital Horse :)
As you always say "everyday is a school day", and you and Laragh did so well over all. Loved the video and can't wait for Day 3! :)
Great vlog Lucy and Laragh ❤ Exciting times and can't wait to watch part 3 😍
Well done! You were trying so hard. I think you are amazing! X

Ahh can not wait for the next one ! Loving your new series😄 Well done for adding all the bad bits of the xc I also, so important 😊
The goal is to ride your best, not have a clear round. Hard lesson that one.

Think you might have started a new trend: Course Walk with Wine!
omg yayy im so excited to watch this! :D
I knew it was a Vizsla puppy, glad I finally am recognising dog breeds, hoping to get a Vizsla or Border Collie soon!
Love ur videos lucy wish i could do this with my horse😁
Lot of pressure on you, so makes sense there will be challenging moments - you handled it well 👍 Xx
