    In this video we cover How To Crimp Quick Connectors - Ashlock, Ashlok, Maxloc and it also is similar for Standard servo connectors. If you have watched the A10 video series so far than this will be a bit of a repeat but I figured a separate video was in order for anyone looking.

    GREAT VIDEO!
    Thank you so much for making this video.
    I just bought 5 planes from a nice guy that I know, the problem is that all the connectors are Futaba "drats" lol
    I fly Edge TX using all ELRS RX and TX
    One plane needs a 30" servo lead and the slot that it goes through will not allow a extention cables because the plug is to big
    This solves all my problems, so greatful to you for making this video!
    Also I want to tell you that what you are doing here and showing others that when you want something you make it happen some way or another
    You will inspire countless others!
    God Bless

    Hi Jonathan,
    You make it look so easy, but it's the proper tools that make it easy. Seeing it done the correct way is worth a million words. :-) You and Katie stay safe.

    Very good and very timely! I'm just now planning the electrical circuit of my Feibao F-15E. Knowing what certain accessories are called in English is crucial in order to locate and buy them. In addition to a good tutorial on how to put them together and what tools are necessary to do a good job. Thank you, Jonathan. I really appreciate it. Greetings from the other side of the equator line!

    Hi Jon ,
    Great explanation , for the newbies , however experienced they are !!
    Also great for promoting Molex Connectors , been using them for years !
    I learned that on a Dauntless , 3 flapping Futaba leads , always got plugged in wrongly , enter |Molex,
    Jobs a good un
    Good tools make a far betterer job , my new auto strippers are Brilliant !!
    Carry on lol
    Cheers
    Phil

    Hey Jonathan you make this look so easy! I have the same crimper but it doesn't do a really good job when using cheap amazon pins. Where do you get t h e good pins, and can you buy them in bulk?

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! For these connectors I typically order everything from dreamworks in Florida. The pins come in packs of 24. Sort of bulk

    Would there be any issues in using just one pin each for all the positive and negative - i.e. all the + commoned together and all - commoned together?

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ive see the Power being run as common before and it works. It does create a common point for failure if one of those positive or negatives were to have an issue.
