    MBA courses were meant for managers who wanted to improve their management skills. It was never meant for no experience students!

    The same in Canada. IRCC Minister Miller said that he prefers doers: construction (builders), trade, and health care workers. It is very hard for immigrants to get manager jobs due to language and cultural barriers.

    The problem with an MSc Management is that its too damn vague. You don't really bring anything specific to the table when compared to someone whos specialized in analytics, or marketing or finance - but these too are kinda generic. Plus an MBA will be better than an MSc Management any day.

  • @bhavanasurti1668
    @bhavanasurti1668 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    True even I feel MBA and Management courses are generic and its only give you overview of the subjects wherein specialization gives you clear picture and yes work experience does play a vital role for getting job in future. Thanks for the informative video.

    • @applepeel1662
      @applepeel1662 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's only worth it if you have like 5 years of w ex of more
      You'll be MUCH better off doing a MSc in some skill like financial engineering or marketing analytics or something like that
      Avoid such generic degrees, they're cash grabs

    Let me ask about the Warwick MBA. I'm from Uzbekistan with about 5 years of experience, mostly in education. I've been accepted into the Warwick MBA program. Additionally, I've applied for the Chevening scholarship, have had my interview, and am now awaiting the results. What do you think about Warwick? Is an MBA from Warwick prestigious and worth it? Thank you in advance!

    hey Devyani, I am a fresher and was planning to study abroad for a master's in luxury brand management. is it worth it to go to the UK without any experience or study here in India without any experience since I don't want to take a gap year?

      Hey Kritika! I understand your dilemma. I'd say gaining even a year of work experience in India first can really benefit you before doing a masters in the UK. That experience will help with jobs later. But going straight for the masters is still a great option too if you're set on studying abroad now. Think it over and go with what feels right for you! Let me know if you have any other questions.

      @ShredDynasty - Hello! With a background in education, some good options for further study in the UK could be master's programs in education, teaching, curriculum design, education leadership/management, or special education needs. Many programs do not require a directly relevant undergraduate degree, so you would likely qualify. Focus on programs that interest you and highlight your transferable skills

      Check the course placement stats > Filter the city life in each place > Figure out the standard of living = Make a choice. | Preferably if confused, go with city with higher population and uni w better ranking.

    What is the academic criteria for rusell group universities ???

    • @devyanikoparde
      @devyanikoparde  ปีที่แล้ว

      @user-gp4wl6ug7i: The Russell Group universities generally have high academic criteria. They often require strong academic qualifications, including high grades in relevant subjects, and may have specific entry requirements for each course. It's advisable to check the admission criteria for the specific Russell Group universities and courses you're interested in.
