As an American, I could not imagine spending one or two weeks in tent on a crowded football field like that. What is the point? The good thing is that the Brits seem to enjoy it, so all is well.

Well most of the time it isn't like that campsites are actually meant to be very spacious and when I went mine was, enough room to lay in the sun without getting a football lodged at my head LOL 🤭🤣 But we barely spend any time in the tents, most of us enjoy the sites facilities so its sort of like going to a hotel resort if you manage to dig out the right campsite for you, camping is truly amazing and you never know don't knock it until you try it! (Also from a fellow American who lives in UK)!
