      Thanks! Me too. I feel lighter but I do keep gathering hair that isn't there. 😅

    I like to use the all about spelling app, it’s easier than using the letter tiles.

    Been using Spelling You See level E for my 6th grader. She’s been enjoying this stress free approach to spelling for sure. I think I probably should’ve gone up a level, but the most important thing is recognizing the patterns and gaining confidence. Still not too sure about the program to be honest…looking to see more improvement. I think she’s just a kid who struggles with spelling, no matter what approach we take 🤷‍♀️.
    My husband still struggles with spelling sometimes, so he tells me not to worry so much.

      It's hard for me because I'm a strong speller. I can't relate very well.

    Loving the new do! I think I am going to wait on Spelling til 5th grade. We are doing AAR right now, Level 2, but with his spelling, it is so hard with his speech delay, language delay and being able to pronounce things. So I am just taking it slow. Thoughts are to start IEW, Level A with him in 5th as well as AAS. :) That's my goals so far.

    I found this VERY helpful, thank you! We used Hooked on Spelling and my daughter grew to hate it. We used Hooked on Phonics for 3 grade levels and both enjoyed it Maybe it was because the Spelling was done on computer, as opposed to the CDs/workbooks with Phonics. Not totally sure. I debated on All About Spelling, but thought she might be too far ahead. It sounds like it might be good to start there to give her a boost (that includes positive association along with confidence:) Cheers!

      Sometimes easy can be good. I feel like we are in one of those times.

      @@MakingEverydayMagic Are the letter tiles the same for All About Reading & All About Spelling?

    • @MakingEverydayMagic
      @MakingEverydayMagic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, no need to get more

      Wait, that may be inaccurate. We had the AAR letter tiles. If anything, I'm unsure if the AAS letter tiles include as much as the AAR, the syllable labels and such.

    How are the lessons divided? I do Spelling you see also and I’m thinking of adding All about spelling cuz I like the rules. Just wondering how you add that to your schedule, how many days a week do you do All about Spelling. Will you be finished with level 1 in a year?

      There are 26 lessons. We do them together on Mondays. Super simple.

    Thanks for your video. You have inspired me to try new things so thank you! This year I am also doing a 4 day a week school week and we LOVE IT! It seems tricky for spelling sometimes. Most spelling methods use a 5 day approach like you said. How do you fit a "weeks" worth of spelling into 4 days? Thanks!
