Here is a thought i post in another comment section about Gavin: As i thought, Gavin is the canon one(for the romance i mean, the guy we should end up with) in the story, the opening nearly confirmed it to me🤔 He's the only where it's nearly explicitly said that he is already loves us in the main (so canon) story and his cards in game are in général pretty much more powerful than the other. Also directly get a card with him when you but something, and he has the more developed background from what i know, especially with us, and he's the only that we didn't forget about when we saw him again. Most of his actions revolve around mc too. And he id also the last one to be with her in the opening when they show each guy after another one. And he is also the first one we see again Not that i'm against it, it in fact makes it easy to get the romantic part done in the end(if they do it, i'm waiting for the anime to end to watched it and also read up till chap 18 in game) and he is not a bad ml ^^ Yes i know i'm spamming, but i just want to have some interessing discussion about that theory

I'm feeling that he has suffered a lot of pain but he still is there for the MC cheering her up, protecting her, I think he has been always honest, and he has such a warm heart, Gavin deserves happiness 💙

Gavin had a bad reputation in high school and had lots of rumors about him. He became a legend at his school with his rumors flying around and becoming even more exaggerated. Plus, he was known as a delinquent/gangster so lots of people were afraid of him. Sorry if this spoils anything 😔 .
I've been playing the game for about 3 months now and I just found out about this! seeing Gavin animated like this is such a joy I'm looking forward to this because the plot in the Otome so far has been an emotional rollercoaster

you know..strangers could have the same eye/hair color. The character designs in this anime are supposed to look more on the realistic side, you won’t see many characters with bright hair or eye colors besides the natural ones.

They used the official english names from the game for the subtitles. Even the name of the anime goes with the name of the game, not the actual Japanese translation.
Well late reply but the English (and most international viewers played the English version) name for the official game is Gavin, Japanese name is Haku so that’s what they used for this anime and his Chinese name (which is the original name because the game is chinese) is Bai Qi. It’s a very popular game so different versions of the names lol
There's only two episodes out, but it's based on a game and the storyline has a lot of supernatural mystery going on. It starts out soft, but then it takes a more sci fi turn. I don't wanna spoil too much, but I suggest you give it a chance!
